I am an okder female who, for the most part, enjoys all kinds of movies, BUT one who would generalky not go for a Comic Superhero film. My nephew told me that Antman woos "fun" and I thought I would give it a try. My nephew was correct! - Antman is an amusing , entertainin and overall clever, well done movie with an excellent cast. Great movie for blasting the mid winter, Midwest blahs. I give it an old lady/highschool teacher/English major/ movie lover thumbs up!

Not only is it a great addition to the MCU as mentioned above. It is also a funny movie as well. Marvel seems to have been incorporating comedy well in these movies. Paul Rudd seems to be entertaining. I have yet to not like him. I like the whole father trying to better himself for his daughter thing. A great zero to hero origin story. Definitely worth the double dip to match the others in this series of steelbooks

A very enjoyable Popcorn Movie, with a nice combination of action & comedy and a good cast. We have frankly grown tired of the whole "Marvel Universe" set of films, and find that we Enjoy the earlier-could-stand-on-their-own films more than most of the newer ones, and Ant-Man definitely falls into the Fun, Could Stand Alone, group.

I didn't know too much about the ant man character before i watched the movie but i am sure glad i saw it.My grandson and i went to see it as i heard nothing but good about it. All through the the movie my grandson kept saying "this is really a great movie" and i kept telling him yes it is. The actors played their parts perfectly and the story line was great.Good acting and great script. Great movie from Marvel on a little known character. GOOD JOB MARVEL!!!

Once again my family was fully entertained by another Marvel movie! I do not want to give away any spoilers so I will keep it brief. It has a good story line that will keep both the kids and adults entertained. Lots of action, a good guy, a bad guy and naturally power money greed and corruption at the center of the conflict! If you have enjoyed all of Marvels other super hero movies such as Iron Man, Captain America and the Hulk you will enjoy this one too!

Even though I didn't follow the Ant-Man comic book, I thoroughly enjoyed their treatment of it and the end result they brought to the screen here. I'm glad to see that Marvel Studios isn't relying solely on titles that have flashy, high-profile characters that special effects need to constantly come up with ways so show big explosions and displays of great power, but still find interesting characters and stories to bring to the big screen.

As a movie, it’s completely ridiculous. Same plot as other marvel movies. Bad guy has same powers as hero, but not as long, and already a master. With that said, I loved Ant Man as it is just fun. I don’t have a 4k TV yet, but the picture quality down converted to 1080p on my PJ, it looks fine. Disney is not demo quality for their audio. Leaves a lot to be desired.

I picked up this copy because I never got a chance to watch this particular movie at the theaters when it released so I was in the unknown as far as Ant-Man's storyline. Anyhow, this movie looks and sounds great in 4K and the SteelBook packaging completes it especially if you can get it as part of Best Buy's Deal of the Day. I highly recommend this movie!

Unfortunately, this is the latest in a trend of Disney UHD's with an excellent video presentation, and an audio track that has to be turned up much louder than normal to approach a good listen.

I would not say it is the strongest addition to the Marvel Universe, but I want to have it in my collection. Good action. I believe they departed from the original story, but I enjoyed what I saw.

Just when you thought the Super-hero movie world was crowded enough, Marvel keeps adding to their Avengers plate. You probably figure, hey, it's Marvel, it'll probably be decent enough...but this one might surprise you with how well done it truly is! Edgar Wright, Paul Rudd and others take their hand at writing, and they offer a fresh, very funny approach! It was nice going back to light-hearted entertainment as much of the Marvel world has gotten more serious and dark. For family viewing, Marvel does seem okay with adding more and more bad language to their movies, though, and Ant-Man is no exception, so parents of younger children take note.

First off let me saw I am a huge Marvel fan, but because of that I can actually be a little more critical of what they do with their characters in the MCU. Ant-Man was in my opinion a fantastic take on a classic Marvel character. It had its own unique tone and scale unlike any other Marvel movie to date. The ending fight scene in the little girl's bedroom is worth the watch of the entire movie. Overall great family fun movie.

In my opinion this was a better movie than Avengers Ultron, and up there with Guardians of the Galaxy, excellent film beginning to end, lots of comic relief and action blended together, overall the 3 best comics in the marvel universe to date are Robert Downey Junior, Chris Pratt then Paul Rudd, we'll have to see how Ryan Reynolds does in the new deadpool movie but until that comparison this movie is a great must purchase DVD

This is another hit from Marvel! It's both action packed and funny. I love the way it fits in with the Avengers saga. This is Especially great in 3D!! The effects are wonderful!! Don't Stream! You are totally dependent on someone elses server!! If they don't want you to see it anymore, they pull if off their server, and it's gone! Support DVD/Blu-Ray!! Support 3D!! Demand a hard copy of your favorites!!

This origin story that tells the becoming of the current (this would be the second Ant Man) Ant Man is both well paced and has humorous parts as well as action. Makes it easy to appreciate all of the characters and in some instances you can empathize with them. The ties to the other movies are also well placed and make this a welcome addition to the Marvel universe. Recommended.

Ant-Man was a riot. Some folks cringed at the bugs, and the evil villains cruelty, but overall it is a very funny super-hero heist film. The advance showing audience was filled with uber-fans, all eagerly juiced up on soda, starburst & skittles. So the writing really played well for comic buffs. The wow-factor payoff is especially dramatic at the IMAX in 3D, but you don't need that to get into the miniature action scenes.

I love this movie. My 6 yr old loves this movie. It was so well done with non stop action I couldn't believe it. I counted only one bad word for the parents that care though, there may have been a couple of others I missed. You will love this movie even if you aren't a superhero movie kind of person. Paul Rudd nailed it and his friends in the movie....Awesome. Especially Michael Pena. Get it you won't be disappointed.

This is a good theme and concept. well when watching this on the big screen on a 4k tv ,Ant-Man really shines and it's a pleasure to see that the 4k makes a big difference. I love all the colors and there was pop up moment and scene wow! i absolutely love that little Ant-Man genius movie...i enjoyed watching it again in 4k.

Needless to say, but all of the Marvel films are great to see on Blu-Ray. Ant-Man is no different, except for the fact that director Peyton Reed chose to shoot this in 1.85 aspect ratio. However, this doesn't change the fact that this film is great to look at on Blu-Ray. In fact, the Blu-Ray makes this film even more interesting to see the world Scott Lang/Ant-Man goes into while becoming this new superhero.

When I first saw the trailers for this movie they did not really peak my interest. I thought, Paul Rudd in a Marvel movie as an Antman who shrinks...would be silly. I was wrong. This is one of Marvels most entertaining films in years. Paul Rudd was great as Antman. The special effects were mind-blowing and the ensemble of actors they put together for the film made it stand out above the other summer movies.
