Good for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price I paid it is a good monitor. There are a couple white pixels. All in all still a great buy for the price as compared to other models this size. It also has a smudge on the screen I can't get off. But when I use the monitor I don't notice it.

Monitor has Quality Issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this monitor to replace a much smaller monitor. When I plugged it in, the display looked like a solar flare streaking across the screen. I'd recommend spending a few more dollars and getting a name brand.

Stuck Pixel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within two weeks of receiving my monitor, a stuck (red) pixel appeared in the center. It is extremely distracting anytime the screen displays dark images and neither AOC nor Best Buy are willing to replace it despite my best efforts. Based on the performance of both companies, this will be my last experience with either.

Software incompatible with W10
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Software is useless with latest Windows. Manual buttons do not allow adjustments. Menu stays on for about 2 seconds and is impossible to navigate. This is an old monitor for an older computer.

Budget Friendly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price on this monitor is probably the best out there, and I loved the it was on a swivel, but the picture on here wasn't at all anything I was looking for. I tried changing all setting, but nothing would help how dark and non vibrant the picture was. Not even my K450 W/ EVGA 780 ti , could help to get great picture quality!

Size does matter...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a replacement for an old Viewsonic 22" monitor and the second my desktop came up after logging in, I was amazed! I could read everything on screen without my reading glasses! The larger size definitely makes a difference. Brightness and clarity on this monitor are excellent. Not sure how it would be for gaming but that's not my intent. The internal speakers, while a nice feature, are pretty bad. The sound will suit my needs for this system but I wouldn't recommend using them for music. There is a headphone jack you can plug into on the back next to the audio input but I haven't tried them yet but I'm guessing you could feed a good set of speakers with them. Overall I would definitely recommend this monitor.

Cheap score, only if you want a big screen!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought this monitor to replace my 21 inch Samsung TOC monitor. I had never heard of this brand before, but that could be my ignorance but the price was right and so was the screen size, so I jumped the gun. Upon setting it up (easy assembly), I noticed that the monitor is super bright. The buttons are a little hard to work through but you will only have to do it once. I then launched a soccer game called Fifa 2014 and the grass looked less greener than my 21 inch monitor. I am hopeful that after some warm up and color adjustment, I should be able to get the kind of picture I want on it, but I would say that the display is decent but not great. This is accentuated by the fact that it is 1080p. They claim that the output response time is 2 ms GTG and that is supposed to be super fast, but I am unaware of what the input lag is, and if this super fast output response time is actually going to make any difference. Overall, if you only care about the screen size and want a decent display, go with this for under $200 in July 2014. You can't go wrong. But do ensure you have no dead pixels. If you do, return it right away.

Worth The Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed (okay wanted) a larger monitor for work for the obvious advantages. Since I need to listen to occasional webcast and did not want the added clutter of speakers to my work area I wanted a monitor with built in speakers. The prerequisites on my search for a larger monitor: 27” or larger, built in speakers, DVI-D input, decent style to fit my office décor and affordable. This OAC fit the bill. Yes, as many reviews state, the control buttons are inconvenient but, for my use, once set I don’t really care. I actually prefer the visual hiding of the buttons. My primary purpose for this monitor is for typical day-to-day office work; staring at spreadsheets, email and the alike. Couple times a month I need to watch/listen to webcast and the speakers work just fine for me. If you are expecting surround sound quality I doubt you’ll find that in any monitor. The picture quality is pretty good for a monitor this size and this price range I’d say the picture quality is excellent. This AOC replaces my 23” Dell P-series monitor that is still working just fine. The Dell has a better picture quality but at a higher price, denser pixel placement and smaller screen. I do not do gaming or watch action movies etc… but if I did I’d say this picture quality would be okay but the speakers/audio to be substandard. I will admit I did not (visually) look at other 27” since this monitor is for work and I’m know to be rather, well, cheap. Even at the normal sell price this monitor is a really good deal, but when it went on sale I decided to get it right away since there is nothing out there that gives you as much bang for the buck. This is an entry level monitor but has better than entry level features, quality and style. I’ve now had this monitor for a couple months and have absolutely no regrets. I’d buy another in heartbeat. My only wish list to this monitor would be a couple USB inputs. (I think I just talked myself into buying another one since they’re on sale again)

Great monitor, great price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bought 2 of these now. Love them. Use one with my regular desktop, and one with my alienware gaming computer. Wish the volume and other buttons were in a different color so they would be easier to find, but these monitors are too good for buttons to make a difference in my rating. And for being built in speakers, they are good. Don't expect anything better than built in tv speakers. I haven't felt the need to buy speakers for it.

So far so good...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical about this brand as I had never heard of it. However, after using the monitor for several days, I have to say that I'm pleased with it. Setup and a minor adjustment to the brightness were simple. Some have complained about the black on black printing for the controls. Not an issue for me. The printing is raised like braille so once I knew what was where, it was easy to use by touch. What I like the best, though, is the screen size. I've always had dual monitors so I can spread out my work but this monitor is wide enough to put two applications side by side. Clears up lots of space on my desk just having one monitor. The price (on sale) beat the heck out of what I paid for either my Asus or my ViewSonic...and it's bigger!

AOC is A-OK
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to get a great monitor at a great price. I wanted one with HDMI input and this model has that, plus, DVI and VGA as well. There are speakers built into the monitor. I wasn't really looking for that in a monitor, and they are not really good speakers, but I suppose it is a nice little bonus to have. If you have external speakers, you're going to want to use those. There is a headphone jack and an input for a microphone on the back of the monitor. Both are typical mini-phono sized jacks. This monitor DOES tilt. You will meet with a surprising amount of resistance, so you just have to really go for it. I grab the upper left corner and the lower right corner when tilting and that seems to work the best for me. This monitor WILL NOT flip to be used vertically with this base. You would probably need some other type of mount to do so. I had previously purchased the 27" AOC E2752S for my office and liked it quite a bit. The only difference between that model and this one (E2752Vh) is that the "S" had a second HDMI in place of the DVI that this model has (the Vh").

Viewing ease, multiple ports, great price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was tired of my old 19 inch monitor. This is much more what I want to be able to run several programs on one screen and use them to copy and paste data to other programs while verifying what I paste. My son already has a 27 inch monitor for his gaming computer and I saw the benefits of a larger screen. I like being able to stream movies and videos on a TV size viewing area. For $199 it is a great bargain. The control buttons on the bottom of the screen with black on black are hard to get use to but you do get used to them and they do not even show up unless your are looking for them.
