This APC battery backup is very good when the power goes out and you can save your information in time before you lose all of your data.

This is the fourth of these I purchased. They work great to provide temporary power for my routers and modems until my generator kicks in.

Unit is a good basic model, however, does not do everything it says. The audio alerts do not seem to work as the manual says. Since there is only one button it says everything is controlled via that--but so far only thing we have seen is the on/off action. The audio alert (beeps) on/off (mute) does not seem to happen at all, but maybe we are missing some tight time frame on that control functionality. Either way is either difficult to use or doesn't function as listed. Otherwise unit seems to work well. Is a strong drawback that it does not have the USB connection to send shutdown alerts, etc. Make sure you are going to be using it on devices that don't care if they are suddenly powered off (network switch, router, charging, etc.).

I needed this back up because of power failures and because COMCAST goes out so many times and I have to wait for it to boots up but now I don't have to.

Sure, saving every chance you get is a good idea. But you can't always do that. And that's when you need this.

Bought 3 of these. Less that ayrar and they just start beeping and power off randomly. But different brand.

Eliminate the long re-setting time for a Directv system when using this devise. TV and Satellite box never looses power. Buy One Today!

I have my television and lamp plugged into this. I use it for power outages. It works great. I bought another one for my mom.

Living in Florida we gets lots of brown outs and use this for saving my TV and cable box from shutting down or frying up. Good investment.

My larger APC Battery Back-Up Battery died, so needed a quick solution, so bought this one as a back-up and it's going great.

I liked the small form factor and for the price of less than $30 I was ok with it not having user replaceable battery. I plugged a router, switch and a NAS to this thing. Reasonable insurance policy for what I need as it provides about 30 minutes of backup power.

I needed a new backup, and Best Buy came through with a good product at a great price. I really don't know why I bother to look anywhere else.

Not too bulky and can also be put on the wall if needed.

Love it and i will buy a couple more for other places around the house

I gave this an overall "Average" rating only due to the lack of a USB port to allow connection to the APC PowerChute software on the computer. This would allow monitoring of the battery condition, running a battery self-test, energy usage and other settings. If you want to have the PowerChute software you can spend around $20 more to get a unit with the USB port. Otherwise this unit is a good value for a basic setup with 6 outlets.

These have worked great for our workstations. Gives you enough time to save your work and shut the system down if you lose power.

By far the best battery back up for the price. I searched everywhere for one to back up my home and this works great.

In our office we have some sensitive electronics that require constant power. this is perfect for in home and office use!

Simply put this product works well. Had several power outages over the summer and it performed well.

Had no cause to dislike it. Had no power outage since we boour ught it. It is big but unobtrusive, hidden on the floor behind my desk
