Works perfectly especially in times of storms. Keeps power on the internet and computer.

What can I say? It is a basic UPS. It does what it's supposed to do. Simple setup, 4 battery backup/surge plugs and 2 surge-only plugs, basic features, good price. Enough for what I needed it for which was to provide surge and backup power for my home entertainment center. Works as advertised. Haven't had a power failure yet so can't attest to run times but if all my devices are powered off or in low-power state I would guess it would run for at least an hour or two.

I have several UPS' First two were because the work I did on PCs was better to have the ability to log off gracefully in the event of a power failure. The third is on the directv satellite box. We have half second power fluctuation and those boxes don't tolerate it. They have to reset and it takes 10-15 minutes. If you are recording or watching something, it is painful. The UPS eliminates this problem. We did not have a UPS on the 2nd TV because my husband didn't feel it was necessary.. until those little power interruptions happened one too many times.. but MOSTLY to end my long story, because the Black Friday week price on this item was OUTRAGEOUSLY discounted compared to all the other prices.... and free ship to home!

I have used these backup surge protectors since moving here. The person who checked me out also told me that you can buy replacement batteries if you don’t want to replace completely. I found them at the battery store. Bought the battery and had it installed then gave the old unit to the friend who went through calisthenics to replace the replacement under an almost unmovable desk.

second one I have bought and used I have my cpap machine on the second one.
