It was under warranty. Perhaps the larger size (650VA) is easier to replace the battery

Let my 11 year-old configure and hook everything up. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to short time using the device and the Battery sticks out the bottom preventing it from laying flat

The weekend that I purchased this item, my neighborhood had a blackout Friday... (3) Saturday and (4) Sunday. Since the Utility Company could not provide any answer as to why this occurs annually it was a wise move to be ready for the unforeseen. Ever since purchaing this item, our township has had at least (3) more unplanned blackouts in the last (2) weeks. Fortunately my computers are now prepared for these otherwise electrical component damaging occurrences.
