You can't stop power outages, but you can keep devices powered on until you can properly shut them down. As an IT Business, this product is standard deployment for Computers, Router, Internet Providers and even Televisions. APC Brand is my favorite from out of the box to connect its battery and connect your device(s).

This requires me to get under my desk to press the button. Not acceptable to me.

UPS when on battery commonly produces 4 beeps every 20 seconds unless there are other issue on it.
