Great for all the power “flickers” for my modem and computer.

Apc power surge protector

Lights went out and I had mine with the wifi and tv hooked up. We were able to use our phones with WiFi while lights were out for almost 3 hours

Must have for rolling blackouts.

Best thing next to having a generator, but can’t have one where I live.

UPS with surge protector

Don't rely on the power company to protect your devices, they don't have the capability to do so! Only an uninterruptible power supply with surge protector can manage that!

Great UPS for that purpose, since all my network devices (cable modem, router, switch, wireless access point) are all solid state and consume relatively low current.

Backup Power

One day while hosting my podcast, I lost all power. My show ended abruptly. This corrected that from ever happening again. I use it for backup to my ISP and the lights I need.
