Prolonging the life of all of the devices of your choosing. Recommend this for almost 1 to 2 main devices. For Example a TV and a Couple of other devices.

APC has revised the unit but kept the same model #. The prior versions of this model had a port for a USB connection to a computer, and with that connection you could use their PowerChute software to monitor the status of the Back-up unit and manage settings like delay before shutting down the computer, alarms, and sound preferences. This newer version of the model has NO port and thus PowerChute is not available and you can't as easily configure or monitor the back-up.

Posted .Thank you for taking the time to review our UPS. I apologize that the data port that you can use to connect your PC to PowerChute is no longer available on this model. If that is something you are interested in I would recommend checking out our BackUPS Pro line.
