Works with absolutely no problems on a higher end development machine 8 cores, 24 GB RAM, 4 drives. Gives good runtime during brown outs and black outs

I've been using APC's forever. They just work, always. If you have anything electronic that is even remotely expensive, get it on an APC. It will save your devices. The new long design makes them easier to keep out of the way and take up less space. Grab them when they go on sale, because it's rare.

great for power surge protector and back up capabalities

This was just what I needed with the power in this area so unreliable. Good assistance with choosing the right one also.

Bought this to protect my wife's CPAP machine and it seems to be working very well. We have had a few brief outages and the UPC powers her CPAP for at least long enough for us to wake and realize that power is off, so she's not trying to breathe against the machine. Don't expect the UPS to run her machine through the night, but for as much as an hour, should be OK. 4 stars, b/c haven't been able to test how long it would maintain power.

This unit was perfect as a second unit to help me protect additional devices in my office.

We have three things plugged in: * DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem * wireless mesh router * Ooma VoIP phone This is the house infrastructure driving computers, Roku-equipped TVs, and the rest of our IoT tech. Protecting against intermittent power blips makes life a lot easier.

A good UPS will save you a lot of heartache as well as dollars when disaster strikes. The surge protection alone protects against damage to equipment. Most of my outlets have cheap disposable surge protectors just to help protect the UPS which I'd rather not sacrifice. I've had one surge protector blow and one old UPS died a natural death. Well worth the price when protecting a PC worth close to a thousand dollars or a TV worth $1,000

Using it on my TV and cable box, etc. My power goes out too frequently and I suspect that caused my 4K LG to fail. LG fixed it for free but I decided to protect it further with the backup supply. It also keeps the cable box from a full re-boot which is a real pain. I just shut everything down gracefully when the power fails.

Good UPS for the money. I use two for keeping our PBX and router up in case of power failure. Running like a champ.

A good small size UPS with surge protection capability

So I have returned this item. The only reason is Bc I thought the voltage that this can handle was higher than it actually was. APC is a really good brand, my bf uses apc battery backups for his work computer at home and it’s never let him down.

Lost power recently and it lasted over 30 mins so I could finish my work.

Love that is not a huge backup battery. works great with small devices.

We already have one & decided since this was on sale to buy another. This is a great device especially when you have a slight power surge as it keeps your computer running until the power returns back up. Protects your electronic devices & highly recommend.

This is a very nice compact UPS at reasonable price.

Works perfectly. I tested it out on my Optiplex 7060 workstation and dual monitor. I pulled the battery from the outlet and the APC gave power for at least three minutes. It could have gone more but I didn’t want to chance corrupting anything. Good value and performance.

I needed to replace an older battery by another brand. This APC keeps coming up in my research. This is lighter than other brands & it comes with a "tests passed" printout on it for initial quality assurance; that's great. Also, APC allows you to just replace the battery, if it is needed, & not the entire unit.
