I have been using this UPS in my home network cabinet to keep my home online through power outages. I have no home phone so getting online is my primary remedy for getting information about outages. This UPS is perfect for powering my modem, router, switch, and wireless access point!

I haven't put it to the test yet by unplugging it, but APS is a well regarded brand, so I'm fairly confident.

Size, shape and functionality are very nice. I like the fact that it can use the APC Powerchute software to shutdown the computer safely if the power fails. The only complaint is that the outlets are so tight, I can barely get the plugs in. I was worried they were actually plugged up, but after using just about my whole body weight, I could get the plugs into a few of the outlets--very weird. The plugs are normal and fit the last APC fine.

I am amazed by how simple the process is. It's not hard to set up and fits nice behind my entertainment center.

I have purchased several UPS from APC. They are always easy to set up and I have found them to be reliable.

I bought it to protect data and my expensive editing suite computer, and it did both! I have already had two power surge/phase out/failures, and the computer ran flawlessly with the surge protection and backup. I was able to save my work and boot it down safely.

I have used APC battery backups both backup and full time converters, for years, and for the money do a pretty good job. This unit was used in an outdoor shed to backup several IP cameras via a POE switch and IRD LED lights, and has not failed to do so yet.

Given it is lightning season again, a good power backup is essential. I am currently using this to keep my internet modem, router and raspberry pi running. I have another one keeping my TV and desktop computer running without interruption.

I now have three different APC Battery back-ups, one which I've had for several years and I really like the protection and the ability to be able to shut down computer and other necessary electronic devices when electricity goes out. APC back ups work great.

I purchased this item when my old one stopped working. I'm not very tech savvy, so I was a little concerned that I would not be able to set the new one up. The directions were very clear, and it is working quite well. I think it's a good value for the price.

I’m using it as backup for my modem, router, and security camera DVR. I’ve never had to reset or lose connectivity when the power goes out. Next time, I’ll buy a bigger capacity backup, but you can’t beat it for the price!

Havent tried power outage. Hope I'll never face a power outage. But it's still a good power outlet

Replaced the same branded power protector from 19 years ago. It lasted that long before it went out

This does as intended. Back up power for electronics when your power goes out. I’ve had no issues with this and have had multiple power outages all items are still working and stayed on long enough for me to turn them off properly.

Excellent company reputation and product performance. Once you have to reinstall your system software and all your special applications; due to a loss of primary power, you will surely appreciate the value of a battery backup. It can protect you from any future catastrophes.

This is a great value for the price considering the protection it offers. I like the software which tracks power outages and surges and give you a history. Let's me see if I'm having electrical issues. Definitely will buy a few more for house entertainment system and home computer.

I have and use several UPS's. This is the first one where I installed the monitoring software. I find the reports of low voltage/switching to battery interesting. I didn't know how noisy/low voltage issues I had.

I recently bought two of these. My daughter and I were both working on our computers when we lost power. My UPS failed and she was in the middle of school work. We just couldn't afford to keep losing our work. The computer will even show that it's connected and charged. And I got them on sale.

i purchased this partly because of the small and narrow footprint to fit on a small desk. I like the easy access to the plugins vs being on back like a lot of other offerings. The price point is great and looks enough to change out a battery if need be.
