Provides great protection for computer equipment

However, there is an 8 second delay. Need something that would keep computer equipment running during that delay and not subject the equipment to any power surges when the generator kicked in. This UPS does exactly that. Even has enough power to handle color laser printer.

As good as advertised

We have frequent brownouts and almost anything I can plug into a UPS is and these do a great job of maintaining constant power to delicate modern electronics. The redesign of the plugs much better accommodates equipment with AC adapters which plug into the outlets.

Excellent UPS

This one was purchased to replace a 10 year old or so unit that failed (a very rare occurrence). The ONLY thing I do not like about this unit is the very bright power LED. If used in a bedroom it will have to be covered.
