Works fine as do my other APC backups. Just pay attention to the label - open the battery compartment on the bottom and connect the lead to the battery . I don't use the auto shutdown feature, but the cable is included.

I purchased this product to replace a non-APC brand UPS that was malfunctioning. I've always relied on APC products and like how their products work. This one is no exception, but the shape is a little different than all the other models that I've used. Not bad, but just be aware of this - the outlets are on the thin side instead of the large surface. In most cases, that's a plus.

It was easy to install and I like the features for setting the alarm. You can set it so it does not beep every time there is a power outage (for example, it power goes out for a few seconds in the middle of the night it will not start beeping).

Have had this unit for only a few months but everything appears to be fine. This unit is redesigned (physically) - it's higher and thinner so it takes less room on a surface. More of the outlets are better spaced to accommodate plug-in power supplies.

APC Backup products are excellent products that are easy to install and manage. It is very important to match power needs to the correct size unit. Don't attach heavy power draw items like printers unless you hav eto keep them running.

This is an excellent choice for anyone that has internet service and a child in school. This back up battery is easy to set up and provides power in case your home looses power.

Purchased to replace an existing unit which performed very well.

Power at my house has a tendency to drop for a few seconds and then pop right back up. I had to purchase a small UPS for my router, needed this bigger one for a computer. This will do the job and keep the computer from dropping when the power cycles.

Like the smaller style of this model. Replaced a larger older one.

Needed a UPS for my kitchen and also one for my modem and router. These units looked better than the usual ones and I like the smaller foot print for on the kitchen counter. I like the USB charging port - handy for charging my phone.

APC makes great products. Happy with this device, except for the limited quantity of outlets, and the spacing between them. Some of my devices have larger plugs, and I cannot utilize all of the outlets due to their sizing. Be mindful of this when purchasing, as I have had to be very selective on which devices were connected to the battery back-up.

Reliable and small size for any small office, or home

We needed a replacement UPS for the utility room to keep the cable modem, router, and other small items powered up during power outages. Previous unit kept cycling on and off when we were on generator. This one works fine.

This battery back up holds all my important electronics at work.

Not much more to say than you getting what you expect. Solid performance, plenty of ports and the software is nice to shut down systems gracefully when you're not home and the power goes out.

I use for my 50 inch printer, as when power goes out in uses ink to re cycle, which is way more than a timed agitation cycle. I am happy with, buy another for computer.
