I had some issues with one of the units and was surprised that APC wanted to blame me for the problem, saying that a Mac mini, a monitor, and two hard drives were using too much power. Since the mini and monitor sip power, the support tech was basically saying the hard drives drew too much power. I explained that the high pitch alarm had happened four times, and each time, the computer and drives were asleep. The tech kept telling me I bought too small of a unit, but she couldn't explain what five items could be plugged in to the battery. APC used to be top notch, but I'm disappointed in this product and their defense of its limitations.

I am sure Best Buy sent me a refurrbed unit. BUT I paid For new!,,,

Works great, but...
