Good back up for short outages

Goes into alarm mode periodically and unpredictably. I have other UPSs plugged into the same circuit and they never alarm. Unplugging the unit and rebooting gives a few days to weeks with no alarm, but then back to the annoying alarm.

What I don't like is the manufacturers of these units using archaic technology, and the run time of these batteries is a joke! The run is only good to safely power down your computer in the event of a power outage, it will not give you enough time to finish a task, and for what these battery units cost that is outrageous! It is inexcusable these manufacturers are using outdated battery technology to produce these units! The very short run time these units have is outrageous! These units are a ripoff! The amount of run time you get dose not mesh mathematically, the run time does not equal to what the capacity of the battery is supposed to be. I do recommend having a UPS battery, but not gleefully! It is something one should have, because you do want to be able to at least safely power your equipment off in the event of a power outage, but for what you get, these units are a ripoff!

The standard tape that you expect from the manufacturer was not on, instead it looked to have been taped over irregularly. It's kind of hard to explain what I mean. When I pulled out the UPS it had some marks on it which again leads me to believe that its used. Overall the product is a small form design which is nice but no led which I already knew when I bought it. This low review is more towards best but and not the actual product.
