APC has been making battery backup units since the beginning of time. This unit will not disappoint with it's 900VA battery capacity. Should have no problem keeping a system running for a good 20min. More than enough time to save and properly shut down a computer.

Everyone needs one of these. When the grid goes down because of blackouts or natural disasters having extra time to keep your internet modem powered can be life / death. Now when there is blackouts I’m the only one in my apartment unit that stuff has WiFi going!

I have this item running a wireless bridge router so my networking equipment is protected and stays up in the event of a power outage. I live in a rural area so the power goes out every now and then. So far over the pasy year this device has worked well and not had any problems.

Very robust and effective. Have had a lot of suffered and fluctuations at my area but this thing has stood up well protecting my devices. I use it to keep my router and modem connected to have uninterrupted internet.

I had a 10 year old model feom same company. Battery was pooched and frankly was always loud has had a constant whine... This one is silent and is flawless. I use it for my TV and surround sound system as many brown outs and power failures here in Florida. Great insurance for your electronics and peace of mind. Definitely recommend it over straight surge protector

I've been using APC's forever. They just work, always. If you have anything electronic that is even remotely expensive, get it on an APC. It will save your devices. The new long design makes them easier to keep out of the way and take up less space.

This is my third APC backup. The other two are 3 years old and still work great. I love being able to shut down electronics properly when the power goes out. Also, it is nice to have time to finish a project on the computer when the power goes out prior to closing everything up.

I bought this so my TV and cable box would stop rebooting after brief power blips from typical spring weather in Maryland. Also have my receiver plugged in and running on the battery backup. So far it's worked like a dream.

Excellent product for the price, to protect your household IT equipment such as your router and modem and any other networking device that you are tired of resetting after each power dip or outage. Both UPS plugs and surge plugs.

It is super quiet. It has already come in handy 2 times already for power outage. Currently powering my Ethernet switch, Ooma VoIP phone, Smartthings, Modem and router. Power was out for 1 hours and I was able to keep everything online.

I have had this about 1-2 months and is working great. Very easy to use. I did have a little trouble in the beginning on the tightness of the outlets, but I was able to plug in all that I needed - laptop in battery backup side and printers in surge side. I have not had any power issues yet, but so far all seems great with this piece.

I purchased this to protect my ps4 & 50 inch tv and a couple power interruptions later it has done its job thus far. I also have an ACP twice this size protecting my gaming rig going on 3 years now solid brand imo

I have used an APC battery for the last 15 years. It has protected my computer through hurricanes and tropical storms. When it starts to beep, I get another one which is a lot cheaper than buying a new computer and less stress than trying to retrieve my work.

I decided to go with the 900 over the 700 or 500 because the price wasn’t much more and gives you more outlets and runtime. APC is the only brand I purchase because they stand behind their products and have been doing it for a while.

This backup battery is perfect for my needs. I needed a slimmer unit with plenty of power and the ability to shut down my server via a data cable connection (included). Great value for price.
