Has a great back up battery that does it's job. Storms can pass and the power may go out but this keeps items running efficiently.

I haven't had a power failure yet but it was certainly easy to get this set up as a surge protector.

Compact and powerful enough. I have my cable/phone/Internet modem plugged in and it keeps them powered through normal outages.

I can't quite figure out what's wrong. The first time I plugged it in, the alarm went off. I turned off the backup and left it plugged in overnight to charge the battery. That seemed to fix it. No alarm for two weeks. Then suddenly the alarm goes off again. No power failure, no surges. Unplugged everything important, turned it off, charged it overnight. Turned it back on, and it's fine again for now. Haven't had time to complain to customer service...

Battery back-up has enough plug-ins to suit our needs and is very lightweight compared to the one we had in the past.

I have a lot of power surges and spikes along with lightening in this area so this helps to protect my PC from these! Easy to setup and use!

This APC uninterruptible power supply provides very good protection against power interruptions. Using a connection cable between the unit and my Mac allows me to control energy settings in the Preferences menu and to see the status of the backup battery. This model has a nice mix of receptacles that are powered down with the master switch and that are always on (although it does not automatically power down some receptacles when the computer is turned off as some models do). All in all, a very good device.

I love APS backup. I can count on it to not falter when power is interrupted. I have owned 2 of these and have always been satisfied with them.

The product was easy to setup with surge protected ports and non protected ports. Lots of power with more run time than my last unit.

I would get this at a good price if you can. When you live in Hurricane areas like me this is a good back up
