Had two failing UPS's in the office and this is what BestBuy had in stock. It is an APC, so you can't go wrong.

I needed a second surge protector for my equipment and so far this seems to fill the bill perfectly.

Battery back up works flawless. No annoying chimes or buzzer when the power goes out. I would like to see all the plug ins on battery backup, but it does the job.

My old battery back up finally expired. I bought this APC Battery back up at Best Buy. It's been working great.

Simple and straightforward, I use this for my FIOS modem and primary router. APC makes good units, some better than others. I've been happy with this one. Sure beats having your whole network reset when those short outages and power blips happen. Read the label and make sure your devices don't exceed the rated output or the amount of uptime you can expect.

I can't say how long it will last, but 4 starts for easy set up, and I like the features that: 1) Allow you to restrict the alarm (so it does not go off in the middle of the night when there is a power flicker). 2) A common battery you can replace if needed (should it not hold a charge in the future). One suggestion for improvement is better information on how long it will last for given loads.

I brought three of these two for computers and accessories and one for medical equipment works great

Protects my computer from brownouts and power flickers, really saves me!

I own a small internet company and I only use APC Battery Back-Ups's on our servers and all our workstations. This APC was purchased for my home TV and entertainment center. I have a DISH DVR and even the shortest of power outages caused the DISH DVR to go through it's set up and that is around 5 minutes. Well worth the price to protect my investment and to the DISH DVR on line.
