GREAT U P S FROM APC AT REASONABLE PRICE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.MY 11 YEAR OLD APC UPS STARED BEEPING AND AFTER CHECKING WITH APC AND FINDIND THAT I PROBABLY NEEDED A NEW BATTERY AND ONE NOT AVAILABLE FOR A WEEK I DECIDED TO UPGRADE TO A NEW ONE WHICH WAS IN STOCK AT BEST BUY AND DOUBLE THE CAPABILITIES OF MY OLD ONE AT UNDER $ 100.00 WOW SO I BOUGHT IT AND ORDERED A REPLACEMENT BATTERY FOR OLD ONE AND IT'S NOW PROTECTING MY TV/BLU-RAY THANKS BEST BUY FOR GREAT PRICING AND HAVING IN STOCK.

We have a laptop with a non-charging battery so we can only use it with an electrical input. We need this battery to supply that laptop with a charge in case of a power outage so we can power it down properly. I am not giving it 5 stars because the replacement battery is very expensive so you're better off buying a whole new device after about 1 year when the original battery no longer charges.

Good Product for the Price

I have 5 external HDs, a router, and a PC hooked up to it and it's usually at half-capacity. I wouldn't add too much more however as too avoid over drawing from the UPS. I have had 3 power outages since purchasing and each time the UPS did it's job. Would have been 5 star if they'd included better software. The software does not provide the ability to do e-mail alerting, which is a bummer. Overall, a good "set it and forget it" UPS. 4.5/5
