I love the compact size and plenty of power to back up multiple devices.

It is a good feeling knowing that all my data will be protected in the event of a power failure. There are multiple outlets in this device to hook-up your desktop, your modem and any other additional items connected to your computer. I even connected my lamp. The vertical design of the UPS with the outlets on top makes sense and the device is only about 2.5" thick, which saves space. Mine sits on the floor..

I got this to use on my NVR security system as a battery backup and it has been working well. I like this form factor as it is not too tall as compared to the stand up units and takes less of a foot print then the strip type. The power cord is attached and a little short but I could make it work. I only wish it had a LCD status display panel so I could tell the capacity, so knocking one star for that. But if you don't care about the display then this is a 5 star UPS.

Bought this as protection during blackouts...think i made a good decision!

Always like APC battery backups and this one is convenient that it has mounting holes to allow you to mount it on a desk, backboard or wall to tuck it out of the way and have the sockets all along the top. It also has a 5 ft power cord. It is good looking enough to have it out in the open. I usually get some 1 foot three prong extensions because of all the things that like to use the brick style plugs.

I just purchased this APC UPS last month for my boss. I wanted the more powerful one because she has a lot of equipment and plenty of brownouts to deal with. I have purchased only APC brand UPS Backups in the past and have never had any issues with failures or defects. When a brand works well I stick with it because I can't say that about many IT products these days.
