easy to use but heavy

A portable power will be necessary since the instrument equipped with no battery. 900VA will be good enough for around 1 hour so the capacity is good. The product is strong but somehow a little heavy for a 15-year-old girl. Also 9 outlets are truly not necessary even you use as UPS--an extension cord can do the job.

APC is a Powerhouse

If you buy the latest technology, you need to protect it with a powerhouse like this one! APC stands behind their products too. When there was an issue within warranty period, they had a new one to me within days. Will always buy APCs for my surge protector needs.

Worked during a brief blackout

Has it connected via USB to my Netgear ReadyNAS. I was out and got an email from the ReadyNas that the UPS was on battery power. A short time later I got another email that the power was restored and the UPS was back on line power. Pretty cool.
