This price was reasonable and I feel that now I have extra protection should I experience a power outage. This will give me the opportunity to address the issue rather than just waiting until the power is back on.

APC is a Powerhouse

If you buy the latest technology, you need to protect it with a powerhouse like this one! APC stands behind their products too. When there was an issue within warranty period, they had a new one to me within days. Will always buy APCs for my surge protector needs.

Worked during a brief blackout

Has it connected via USB to my Netgear ReadyNAS. I was out and got an email from the ReadyNas that the UPS was on battery power. A short time later I got another email that the power was restored and the UPS was back on line power. Pretty cool.
