Needed a new back up for a computer I just bought and the sales girl showed me a few choices but this one was priced well and had great reviews, it was a simple choice and I am thankful that Best Buy had what I needed in stock and at a good price.

Great surge protector and power back up for office equipments

This unit is decent, Ive had it for a few months then after doing a self test it would not turn on anymore and would emit a loud alarm tone. Contacted support and they are sending a new unit out to me and I am sending this one back. All in all unit works great just had a bad one from the start.

this battery back up is good for its price and for my new TV.

I had to replace the UPS on my entertainment system due to a series of power outages and decided to spend the extra money for a quality APC unit. What I was not expecting was the narrowed form factor with USB charging available! This fits perfect behind my entertainment system.

Needed replacement UPS units for home office, these work great.

Some folks have complained about having difficulty plugging three-pronged cords into the unit. The receptacles are a bit tight, but applying steady pressure straight down resolves the concern, and I'd rather have a tight fitting power cords than loose ones.

Great little UPS, protects the TV and set top box in a guest bedroom and is small enough to be tucked in behind the glass stand for the TV/STB. Plently of power to handle those last few minutes of the show (it is when power goes out, right?) and then you can turn off your TV.

The UPS was delivered a day earlier then forecast. Setup was easy (duh). So far, everything is running smoothly. I expect the equipment plugged into the UPS to survive the next power outage and give me opportunity to power it all down without any problems.

Great for keeping internet on and charging devices

I actually like this newer model. My old one died after 8 years of enduring brown outs and power failures. Hooking up the battery was easy, and the way the outlets are organized is easier to deal with too. I'm expecting this Summer it will be put to the test.

Tried purchasing "cheaper" UPS that always alarmed even when no apparent power loss (or even brown out) occurred. So back to APC (yes I know they are owned by Schneider Electric) I went. Desk side UPS systems aren't rocket science, but APC knows what they are doing - decades of Data Center class UPS knowledge; translates into a quality home product.

It definitely works as promised and the accompanying software is ok, although not very elegant. I can't vouch for the battery run-time because I always shut down my equipment right after a power outage, but it looks like it could last long enough for most purposes (or at least till your desktop can safely go into hibernation).

I have having issues with my desktop tripping my breaker. My apartment seems to have a shotty power setup. Lights always flickering random and etc. This cleaned up the power so that I don't trip the breaker anymore!

Needed battery backup for computer & peripherals, as well as a second one for TV, DVR & peripherals. Purchased one for each grouping of electronics & have resolved issue of brief power outages! Easy setup & much smaller footprint than unit being replaced.

Easy access to outlets due to Horizontal design with outlets on top. Much better then the fancy vertical ones with the outlets crammed in the back and an unnecessary display on front. Definitely recommended.

I needed something with a little more power. This does the job. Unfortunately, it died one day and i had to contact support. Easy exchange for a new one and no shipping costs either way. Good company to deal with.
