I've bought several of these to protect my electronics when we have unexpected power outages and surges. When the power goes out it gives me time to properly shut down my PC, TV's and wireless equipment. You only get about 8-12 minutes of power before the battery is completely drained. I can tell when there's a power surge because I can one or the other click as if it interrupted a surge from affecting my connected electronics.

I was just needing something for protection and home and this unit suited my needs. No issues thus far.

I have many battery back-ups in my business network. This one is much more compact than older units. It had one nice feature that I have never seen.... a mute for the audible tone to let you know when the unit is running on battery. I use this item to keep my PC powered. Having the alert sound off when power is off does not assist my business. It just makes for noise. SO I am impressed by the size of this unit and the mute feature.

Works well for the application. If you want a true back up system I you may need a more expensive one.

I wouldn't use this on a computer, but it's perfect for routers, modems, access points and switches.

Compact and very simple set up not having to actually handle the battery and related terminals.

This has been solid so far. No battery issues yet and had been through multiple power outages.

With 4 surge and battery backup plugs plus 2 surge only plugs it is the ideal low cost device for temporary power outages and power surge protection. Upon power failure their is both an audio alarm and flashing lights that indicate power outlet failure. The internal battery is easily replaced, caution it will void your warranty, with a readily available 4.5AH 12 Volt battery you can buy from Batteries plus Bulbs or Ace Hardware. With a small footprint, 6 outlets and audible plus visual lights upon outlet failure it"s the best solution I've found for the money.

I got this UPS for my modem and security base station, so not a high demand situation. So far, it has performed perfectly during a couple brief power outages. I haven’t purchased or used a UPS for some years, but decided i was tired of having to reboot my modem every time we had a power glitch. One of the things that was most notable about this unit is the smaller footprint and lighter weight compared to units from a decade ago. I will also add that the price for this unit is about the same as that of the last one I bought about 15 years ago. You can’t go wrong with APC.

We have frequent power outages for brief periods, usually less than an hour. These resulted in disruptions of my computer and printer services, and after the power came back on, I could not reconnect the computer and printer, which greatly inconvenienced me. Best Buy recommended that I buy a surge protector with battery back-up to prevent such problems. Since purchasing it, power outages have occurred, but there was no disruption of my computer-printer connection, which has been a lifesaver during big work projects with a deadline.

I purchased this battery backup for my internet modem / router. It seemed that every time the power would flicker, my modem would go off and sometimes it wouldn't reset. I had everything plugged into a surge protector but still had issues. Since getting this battery backup, I have had the power flicker with a recent storm and no problems at all with my modem. I have my laptop plugged into the battery backup also and it gives me peace of mind to know I won't lose any work if the power goes out. It gives me time to save things and safely turn things off. Very happy with this purchase!

So far so good? Have not really had a real test for it since no power outages have occurred

I needed a few extra plugs so I purchased this unit and has it protecting my TV also....

We were always have momentary drops in power, not enough to turn the lights off, just enough to make them blink...and to knock our cable modem and router offline and force a reboot. This UPS is just the right size to keep our Modem, router, and smart hub up and running for the brief time our power drops. It won't run a laptop or PC but it isn't meant too. It has enough power to keep the network up for around 30 min or so for those blackouts that last a few moments but I am happy that it keeps things running during those hardly a second blackouts.

I switched from a basic surge protector that I bought for $3 online. Since I just upgraded my PC and still wanted to keep my monitor and PS4 setup, I decided to upgrade to something that would be more safe for my systems. So far, I'm very happy with the design. Only con is that it is sometimes noisy if no other noises are going on, but I usually turn it off before I go to work or I have headphones on while I'm gaming so it doesn't affect me.

Easy to setup, good price for what it does. The only negative is its case looks cheap.

I mainly got this for my printer so my printer would not go offline in case of a power fluctuation or outage. I recently had a power outage that lasted more than 10 minutes and the printer stayed on. I was not printing at the time, but if I was I would of canceled the job to conserve battery power. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to keep power fluctuations from power cycling their smaller electronics. The battery is not that big so I would not recommend connecting a high performance computer to this or any other power hungry devices.(devices that consume a lot of wattage)

This is a great value UPS for those small devices that may need continuous power, like your router, cable modem, wifi access points, etc. Doesn't really have a lot of power to sustain larger devices like desktop computers for any length of time but if all you need is something to trigger a safe shutdown, this is your UPS. Good price and value.

At the beginning of every summer my township seems to have "rolling blackouts". The weekend that I purchased this item, my neighborhood had a blackout Friday... (3) Saturday and (4) Sunday. Since the Utility Company could not provide any answer as to why this occurs annually it was a wise move to be ready for the unforeseen. Ever since purchaing this item, our township has had at least (3) more unplanned blackouts in the last (2) weeks. Fortunately my computers are now prepared for these otherwise electrical component damaging occurrences.
