This APC Back UPS Pro is incredibly easy to set up and has already proven its worth. During a recent power outage, it gave me plenty of time to save my work and safely shut down my PC. The LCD screen is a fantastic feature, providing clear, real-time updates on load, battery level, and remaining runtime. It runs quietly, stays cool, and easily handles my computer, monitor, and router with power reserve to spare. My only minor complaint is that bulky power bricks can block adjacent outlets, but it’s a small trade-off. Overall, it's a highly reliable device that I recommend without hesitation.

Works well, gives me enough power to survive a short outage or time to shut down my server properly. It's a pretty small profile too, which was what I needed. The display is helpful without displaying too much info.

this compact ups fit our need for my wifes computer in our RV. I am pleased with its smaller size and solid performance

Works better (so far) than my old one, and can run the kitted out PC at least 45 mins.

The APC Back‑UPS Pro 1050VA is basically a tiny superhero that lives under my desk. The power went out, everything else in the house panicked, and my PC just kept vibing like nothing happened. The LCD screen gives me more stats than my doctor, the 8 outlets finally make room for all my ridiculous power bricks, and the switch to battery is so smooth it should win an award. If you want a UPS that protects your gear like an overprotective parent, this is the one.

I have always been content with surge protectors, mostly because I've had mostly laptops and tablets. Batteries already included, so even in the event of a power outage, I was good to go until my battery ran out. Having recently purchased a desktop for the family, I thought it was time to switch it up. I've always been intrigued by UPS's, but it wasn't an essential need until recently. Out of the box you get the UPS unit and a data cable to USB.. Before you even plug it into an outlet, you have to connect the battery connector. The UPS wasn't even plugged in, and I saw two sparks when the lead connected to the battery. It freaked me, out so I unplugged it and plugged it in again to see if the sparks would fly again, and nothing the second time... a bit of relief. Once it's plugged in, the screen on the front lights up. I plugged in my desktop, monitor, and laptop. The back where the outlets are separated into back up and surge protection. The front screen indicates a good number of statuses. It shows an online status, load capacity, battery charge, overload, event, automatic voltage regulation, error detection, and mute. I immediately muted it, because I didn't want to hear a loud sound often. Everything is okay so far. The spark still freaks me out. I placed it in a well ventilated area, so hopefully all is good.

I really like this style UPS. It takes up less floor space then a flat ups. The plugs in the back make hiding the power cables easier and I really like digital display. It can be a little tricky programming the functions since you have to know how long to hold buttons to get into menus. I have this ups to protect my external hard drives from spinning down on power outages/flickers. It gives my computer time to power off and safely shut shut down.

Bought these to protect my computer equipment, wireless network system and home security system. Great features for the price. This is ready to tackle both brownouts and blackouts. Protects your equipment and gives you extra time to run your computer and WiFi while you wait for power to restore. Already survived two blackouts in NY suburbs this year, with no damage to equipment and without interrupting my work. Highly recommended.

I've always used APC type UPS's. I really like this one. The size, the LCD feature, the low cost, the quick delivery, everything has been great. No hassles, no need for customer service. Just a great UPS.

Exactly as advertised. Using it for ISP modem and home router. Size makes it easier to fit , mute button on front/top.

I have always loved APC quality. Other than a battery dying once, I have never had an issue. (The battery was well past the expected life cycle x3) I play on maxed out gaming computers and would never trust less that APC. This one was for my roommate's smaller computer. But at 1050VA it fits the bill very nicely. Also with a smaller foot print I like that it is easy to move around and fits in smaller spaces.

This unit performed as designed during a recent power outage. It kept the main system running until it could be manually powered off. It was worth the investment.

I bought this for use as part of a home server setup, and it connects over USB, making it really easy to automate graceful shutdowns if my power goes out. Being able to replace the battery is also a big plus!

Easy to setup. Solved problem with my Internet router going out. I have unstable power in my appartment and the voltage regulation helps. Just make sure to buy for what you need for wattage.
