UPS does its job and works as expected. Tried a few times knocking off the power manually and it did its thing and shifted power to battery without any issues with connected Fiber Optic Modem and Router. I also have connected PoE switch which also switched power swiftly without any incident. Its reliable UPS and I would always trust APC as a brand vs cheapo Cyber Power.
I also have Cyber Power 1500VA UPS but its not that reliable. I have had bad experiences with Cyber Power in past and would never buy those ever again.
If you really need a solid, reliable, advanced, UPS backup power system then simply spend little more money and get an APC System. Period. You will thank me later.
In my profession, we always design UPS with APC system, every critical facility that I have worked on always had APC system installed, That tells me something.

I really like that the Set Up was really easy. The beginner would have no issues setting up this bad boy. It has a plug and play aspect to it. The system is compact and takes up little space on your desktop or under the desk. The software that comes with this system is very detailed specific and answers all the questions you may have.

The power goes off in my home very often. usually the power stay off and on for less than 10 to 20 minuets for 3 to 5 times a day. I finally decided to buy 3x1500VA & 1x1100VA battery systems after I lost couple of routers few weeks ago. During recent storms the power went out as usual but my 82" tv, desktop and other sensitive electronics was on until the power back on.

I bought this because my power supply had died the night before because of a power surge. I picked up another psu and ended up buying this also. I gave it 4 stars because there is an audible noise coming from it but its not noticeable if you have headphones on or if you are in a louder than normal scenario. This things is amazing because I was gaming and another power surge happened and it took it like a champ. This ups is a real life saver.

This is an upgrade from my old APC UPS. The APC PRO 1500NET I replaced was a serial interface and when the batteries failed the cost of replacing the batteries vs a complete new USB unit was only a $50.00 difference. Easy setup. The battery showed up with almost a full charge on it. It was pretty much just plug it into the outlet and plug in my computer, monitor. Very easy display to read. Only disappointment was that there was no PowerChute software included but it was easy to down load

I've been using APC Back-UPS systems for years to preserve the life of my critical electronics. Besides the obvious back up power it provides, it also keeps a clean power level and suppresses power spikes. This unit has a lot more Back-UP outlets than my last one. Great for a system that needs uninterrupted power for multiple peripherals besides the cpu. It's very useful for my 4 external hard drives & BD-optical drive as well Surge Protected outlets.

I have purchased a number of these units and am extremely satisfied with them. They are easy to set up - just plug in the unit and plug in the devices you want to have surge protected or surge protected and battery backed up. There are also 2 USB ports on the front to charge cell phones, etc. or to allow you to monitor operation/events from a computer using supplied software (I have never used this function so I can't comment on that).
Protected devices will receive clean, 120 VAC power during wall power surges or brown-outs. This helps reduce power surge damage to sensitive devices and help keep computers from rebooting due to a temporary outage or brown-out.
You should ensure that the total wattage needs for your devices don't exceed the rating of the unit but for most audio/video or computer systems this should not be a problem. If you do exceed the wattage (which I have done on one A/V + computer system) you should buy a 2nd unit and split (balance!) the load across 2 units.
The units provide some outlets for surge only and others for battery backup + surge. Put critical items (e.g. computers, etc.) on the batter backup outlets. Battery backup duration will vary depending on the total load your devices draw.
Information about your loads, battery life, etc. is available from the front panel display (cycle through displays via push button). An audible alarm can be turned on/off to alert you when a brownout or power outage event occurs. The display goes to sleep unless an event occurs. The unit also provides error diagnostic codes to help you determine fault conditions.
One item of note: The battery in these units do not last forever. 2-3 years is not an uncommon battery life expectation, after which you will need to replace the battery (or entire unit). Additionally, excessive surges (e.g. close lightning strikes, etc.) can damage or degrade the surge protection circuitry. In general, though replacing a battery is easy and cheaper than buying a new unit, I typically replace units when the battery dies as you're never sure if the surge protection circuitry has been damaged/degraded.

I have purchased several of these APC - Back-UPS units for both home and work. These have been purchased for work. If you want to assure that your equipment doesn't get fried from a Surge, and also make sure that you have time to turn off your equipment due to an extended power outage, go with a name that you can trust - APC. My daughter made a claim several years ago, and APC made good on their warranty. These units have a 3-year battery. Should the battery fail before then, they will make good on replacing the battery.

with constant power disruptions in my area with any kind of bad weather, I know I needed a UPS to protect my dell R720 and MD3200, I thought this would be underpowered, but it is not. this UPS is able to run the server and the MD3200 for about 11 minutes, not bad for the price. but my main concern for getting it to protect my system from power fluctuations. I lost the NIC on two previous system after lightning struct the AT&T fiber box outside. so far this has held up with about 44 events as of this writing and my server is running just fine.

I bought this after the battery on my old 1080VA died during an outage, with summer starting did not want to risk it since due to COVID-19 we are working even more from home. The new design is ages better than the old one and it now has a USB and USB-C port in the front to charge phones, ipads, etc. It also has more outlets in the rear and the display is much better. Overall and improvement from the previous version and hopefully it will last as much as the old one.

I own several APC UPS units, use them on my entertainment center as well as my home office equipment and they're the most reliable I've found. When I priced a battery replacement for a unit I've had for almost a decade I found it was more cost effective to buy a new unit. This is sleek and compact compared to the old unit I replaced.

When I bought a high-end i9 iMac, it stressed my APC Network 40 UPS that had served me well with my previous computer. Now even with multiple monitors and peripherals to do graphic art and multi-platform software development, the 1100VA handles it with capacity to spare.
The documentation doesn't explain this well, but pressing the Display button will cause the numeric display to show different kinds of information, cycling with each successive press. In my home office, power fluctuates when some household appliances start up and this helps me recognize and respond to various conditions.
Having all 10 outlets in the back helps keep the cords more organized, and it makes it more practical to keep the UPS on the desk rather than under it, where the LCD display is more easily visible. It's easier to set up, easier to maintain, and much neater! One thing I wish were different, though, is the spacing of the outlets. If one or two more were spaced a bit wider, it would be easier to plug in more power blocks, which these days seems to be more the norm than conventional power cords.
Now that I've been able to monitor my UPS stats better, I can see that this model is better than I need. Nevertheless, for a little extra cost I have peace of mind that I have room to expand my system and the UPS errs on the side of safety.

APC Typically is my go to UPS

I work in IT and we typically use APC UPS backups. I have an older startups 1100, but needed a second unit. I like the display showing the load, battery runtime, input/charging, etc. It has outlets for surge protection only as well. You can install the software for your computer that will auto shut it down. It has some outlets for larger power supplies, so that you don’t burn up two for one. The telecom provider we have service with uses a well known brand (not sure if I can post the brand here), that we’ve had issues with. If the battery starts to fail, it will cause the power to flicker. This is even if your facility power never flickers. I know the power never flickered because the UPS was in our data center which all the outlets are backed by our large UPS. To my knowledge this has never happened with our APC units. You can buy less expensive units, but I like the size and again the ability to see the stats.

One needs a battery back up for your electronics and this is a good unit to have. When you have one of those momentary A/C failures for just a moment, it's great to have this back up battery. No loss of computer work or files. I highly recommend this unit. Large, easy to read numbers, on the face.

After a few weeks of use this battery back-up system works. Like the display which tells the voltage and the power load up on the system - not guessing. Wires attach on the back so they do not show. Many plugs to use on the back. I feel safer now that my computer is protected from surges and complete lost of 110 volt house line power.

This is my 3rd APC over the years. Each one I've replaced has been long after it's warranty has expired and I'm happy with the quality. I currently have 2 desktop computers, a monitor, and a network router plugged in and it works perfectly.
