I love the USB - C port on the front. This this is helping to keep my WiFi going whenever the power flickers.

Bought this in case of power failure. Like having one power outlet capable of handling outages up to 5 hours while protecting components from damaging power surges.

[Employee of bestbuy] Worked great for two weeks - left the house after shutting down all connected devices and unplugging backup from the wall. When I returned, the UPS did not power up at all. I had to return it. This may have just been a defective unit, idk.

Nearly all UPS perform the same function, and I haven't noticed a significant difference from one to the other. That said, this unit outshines the others in the office with it's sleek look and USB ports.

I had a perfectly reliable CyberPower that I upgraded to this to give me better battery life and a higher VA. However, it's plagued by phantom issues to the point that you can literally type in the model and instantly find a reference on how to fix your problem. I have had it randomly start alarming in the middle of the night with an F error code that was "fixed" by simply turning it off and back on. Today it randomly turned itself and all my attached computer equipment off. Thinking the battery was dead (on a 2 month old unit) I looked up what green light meant and learned turning itself off is common enough that it was the first search for green light apc 1500. I had to unplug it and the battery, then plug both back in. It started right up and the battery was fully charged. So far it's been nothing but disappointing for what I thought was an upgrade over what I had. I've had large APC commercial units that suffered similar problems so this will be my last APC purchase for home use as well.

Use this UPS at construction job site trailers, using generator power. Works well, shows how much voltage coming from plug, so can adjust generator output to be in tolerance.

It says in the manual to let it charge but it was completely charged out of the box. This is nice considering it takes about 6 hrs to fully top it off from the ground up.
