Recently got thrown an F02 error and a lot of sources are saying they have had to get a new unit. Some said they saw smoke or smelled something weird after clearing the error so I will not take my chances lmao.

Posted .Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about our BN1500M2 UPS. I am sorry to hear of the issues you are facing and apologize for any inconvenience it has caused.
The F02 error on a BN1500M2 is an output short issue which could mean that there is an overload from the output that cannot be handled by Inverter or AVR of UPS when encountering this error UPS shuts off output to protect load and UPS just in case of a short on the output or internal connections of the UPS. This UPS would come with a 3 year warranty just in case the UPS has a hardware malfunction.

The problem is that it recently started to randomly turn itself off once every couple of weeks. No errors, no events logged, nothing. Will likely replace with something else if it keeps happening. Its possible I have a faulty unit but with this kind of device having a faulty unit is unacceptable.
