Very nice back-ups for the money. Works great. It is quiet when is on, no problem so far. I would recommend it.

Came with “quality assurance” receipt taped to the side of it. Not sure if this is standard but the tape was yellowed like it was from decades ago…which was a red flag to take it back. A few months after getting it, I used it during a black out for like 5 min and I thought it was weird that I had so little juice remaining, despite fully charging it just a couple days prior. Second red flag. I took to my daughters grad party to use for end of year slideshow that I worked endless hours making perfect. Had just charged it a couple days before so I knew I was good to go. Wrong. I hook it up and it lasted a whopping 12 mins. I was (& still kinda am) devastated. Third red flag. Finally, a week ago I go to start it and it and it doesn’t turn on. So I plug it in and it still didn’t turn on. Here I am a year out haven’t used it more than 3x and it’s essentially trash.

APC Back-UPS PRo 1500VA Battery Back_Up System is great for power outages.

Working just fine, only had it for about a month. No noise issues. I am using it for a Mac so no software that I can find for support. As for now, yes I would recommend this item.

Replacing a 7-year-old APC with this one. They work well but do have a finite life expectancy.

It works like a surge protector with multiple outlets, usb chargers, and a screen with info. Awesome !

Nice UPS, but the software that came with it does not provide enough options for configuration.

I bought this to power a PC at a location nearly 200 miles from home because I would not be able to get to it quickly if there was a power failure even though the location has underground power that rarely fails. I have not visited the site in weeks and it still seems to be up. The power rating is far above the anticipated load but it is worth it if you would have a hard time getting on site quickly in the event of a power failure. I usually use the smaller APC systems for indivadual loads and I have had great success with them.
