Sold as new not as referbershed. Died 3 days after purchase, like 2 nights of use. Also died during the worst winter storm in the state this year. There was no power outage it just won’t turn on anymore.

Hilariously underpowered

Posted .Thank you for taking the time to review our UPS. I am sorry to hear that the runtime didn't last as long as you thought it would. The runtime will depend on how much power the equipment draws. The unit would have 3 minutes of runtime at full load which is 900 watts. At half runtime it would be around 11 minutes. The power draw is less then this then the runtime would be longer. If you believe the load is a lot lower than this and the UPS should provide more runtime please do not hesitate to reach out to an APCbySchneider support team. Frustrated by a damaged product

Out of the box throws error code F02 which according to support is normal for first time. Now when puwer flickered unit did not switch over to battery and will not power back on.

It stopped working after 1 month

Best Buy will charge for repair even with the Total Member.

Unreliable product.

That company support forum for APC is full of people with this issue. APC's support chat has no one there (waits forever), and their support forum also does not seem to allow posting. I'm sure all units don't have this issue, but seems to be common enough to be a big problem.

The reasons as to why an F02 error would show on your unit is either caused by short from the load, a old/weak internal battery or excessive load. To clear the error, please remove all the loads from the UPS and perform a logic reset by following the steps from here: https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA158947/. I feel bad for the people who pay for their membership because you will not get what is promised. Im sticking to amazon and will return this and other items when they finally arrive.

I recommend disconnecting all the equipment, disconnecting the power cable and internal battery, then hold the power button for around 10 seconds. Reverse the instructions to power the unit back up. If this still doesn't resolve the issue I recommend reaching out to APCbySchneider support team directly as the UPS would come with a 3 year factory warranty on it. Can't rely on it to protect my computer during a storm when I can't expect it to stay on over night. Will not be using APC devices in the future.

Two of six units failed. Not long term reliable.

During a power failure today, two of the six units failed. I have to go find two replacement units and have to disposte of two units.
