The APC Back-UPS Pro 1500VA is not a sine wave unit but my PFC power supply is working with it just fine. You status display provides all of the state information you could want to see with a button that cycles the display. Using a provided USB cable I had no problem connecting my Linux desktop to monitor the UPS with the NUT daemon. Overall my experience has been solid.

Always been a big fan of APC products and this UPS didn't disappoint. Plenty of UPS power receptacles and standard power (non-battery) to plug in a lamp or any non PC items. USB C connection in the front is convenient for a mobile device and can't say enough about the LCD readout. Big upgrade from my previous UPS. UPSes usually are the sexiest piece of equipment in a computer setup, but living anywhere with electrical storms causing power outages it sure comes in handy for a clean, graceful shutdown.

APC backup batteries are essential to have, they help protect your computers, laptops, game systems, TV. Power failures, brownouts or even power fluctuations you might not even notice can damage your stuff. This device helps prevent some of that. Give you enough time to shut down gracefully !

This is my 8th or 9th UPS (I buy them for my offices). It is easy to use and provides a long runtime for my current setup.

This is replacing our APC - Back UPS, 650VA/360W, Floor/Wall Mount 120V, 7x NEMA 5-15R outlets, USB Type A Port - Black- seems to work great and hope it last longer then the replaced units do!

Good quality and well made. Not sure why it's necessary to display the frequency of 60 Hz in the rotation of stat's on the display as if we might have some control over it. Output wattage is useful, though.

Works well - survived lightning strike

We have these deployed in our small office of fifteen workstations, and we recently had a lightning strike directly hit a wing of the building, and every computer connected to one of these survived (the one that didn't have one of these was fried). Of note, we used the ethernet passthrough surge protection as well, and since we also got a surge through the ethernet wires this proved critical to our computer surviving. Using this feature is a must for any office environment.

    Winter storm saviors

I picked up two of these just before the blizzard hit Austin, and they saved my butt. Between the two of them, they kept my Chinese water dragon's ceramic heater running for enough time to get a temporary tank prepared and get him to a boarding facility. Now that the winter storm is over, one is staying on his tank until I can get a generator / APC Symmetra unit, and the other is powering the comms gear in my rack.

    A life saver

I am not an expert on back-ups, so I will abstain from giving a potentially flawed "in depth" review and stick with a more simplistic experience. For a while I have been worried about power outages, as leading up to this purchase, we lost power 5 times in 3 months. A few times a year can be expected with high winds, bad snow storms and stuff like this, but this many in a short amount of time was nothing I had ever seen around here. The final straw for me was after a 30 second outage, it took me 20 minutes to get my computer running right. Monitors not displaying and other things needing to be discharged before working correctly, and with a new 3070 card in my PC, the last thing I needed was something dying in my PC. Since purchasing this, I have had only 1 outage, however that was when I was sleeping (the unit displaying an event had occurred) so I don't know (for now) how this will handle an outage while in operation, but the peace of mind feels great. That and being able to update my BIOS without worrying about it.

These are great batteries. I use them to protect the TV's and other electronics especially during the heavy storm season. they tuck away out of site. This is my 6th, the other 5 are working just fine. They protect the more expensive big-ticket items especially during the brownouts and blackouts we've frequently had because of tree's falling.

We deal with power outages frequently. And using our home computer network as our music and movie server can be a pain when that happens. Having added this power supply along with our previous one allows us to remain online (as long as the ISP isn't affected) even when the power is out. Neither supply has yet to run out even with hours long power outages. APC is a quality company. This is a quality product and is reasonably priced. Getting on sale was an added benefit!

Works well, is silent if operating normally, and looks good, Only complaint is I wish these were cheaper as I have these on five computers, a sine wave one for my entertainment center, etc. Gets expensive when time to replace.

Using this to protect my 75" TV, surround sound, and multiple gaming systems. It's compact enough to fit behind the cabinet and powerful enough to keep things running long enough to save, log out, and shut down the systems. Been running stable for several years with zero issues.

I have six of these spread across two houses. APC is the brand I trust with backups. The ability to change the sensitivity helps with high end computers. These are great to keep critical electronics from shutting down prematurely during a power outage
