I have it about a year and it works great. We have our WiFi router, modem and a network extender. It lasts about 2 to three hours with that load when my power goes out randomly.

This works great as a backup battery. It has plenty of outlets on it to accommodate my computer, two monitors, the printer, and a few other accessories. I've used APC battery backups for years so I trust that this will serve me well for many years.

It is a good overall product, I just bought a second one since the first one was so great. Hopefully, it holds up in quality.

We purchased the APC Back-Up to protect our streaming equipment. I was concerned about noise. It is very quiet. It has options for audible alarms so no issue there. Plugs are spaced generously so even the odd shaped plugs fit. Easy setup. Very happy with this system.

We had a storm this weekend and this device worked. One drawback is that only a certain number of the outlets iprovide the battery backup. And if your plug is odd shaped it might not fit. And some if the settings might be a little confusing.

I started with APC years ago before switching to CyberPower…what a mistake !!! Went back to APC and so far so good. If it doesn’t fail within 2 years I’ll be more than satisfied.

    problems with battery load tolerance

easy setup. only problem is I kept getting error messages that the system was overloaded and I should disconnect something despite the fact that the display showed load as quite modest. Once I disconnected a printer it works fine. The printer is now connected to surge protection only. I am surprised at the disconnect between the display and what the machine did and also surprised that the APC battery could not handle a router, desktop computer, printer and modem.

Thank you for taking the time to review our UPS. Unfortunately printers can pull a bit more power than expected which is why we don't recommend connecting to the battery side of the UPS. Usually we recommend connecting it on it's own circuit. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes. APC

We built a small IT cabinet to house a small network camera set up and this did the job great! It has been tested by Indiana weather more than once and does exactly what it says it will. Great product!

APC has always in my opinion have had great back up battery packs. This one is able to power my monitor, computer, and some other appliances and does usb charging for phones in the front. That is something that I definitely enjoy and holds a charge for a long period of time.

Voltage Regulation, A few minutes to save and exit

I purchased this APC-UPS Pro 1500M2 for a recent gaming PC build. The home does not have the best electrical and the weather can render these $1000 devices inoperable. This backup comes with a LAN pass thru which is good because the phone lines love to transmit lightning bolts. Voltage regulation is also a good reason to purchase this backup. Currently it reflects the PC is using 63 watts for a runtime of 93 mins if the AC power turns off. I have had two events where the power went off and the backup worked. I had an issue where the unit wouldn't turn on... I called the Schneider Electric APC support line. The woman walked me thru basically discharging the unit by disconnecting and removing the battery. Hold the power button for 20 seconds approximately, reinstall he battery and BACK IN BUSINESS!!!! The customer support at Schneider Electric is GREAT, be sure to register your product.

    ** NOT FOR GAMING PC**

Its a ups and it is a good one however, most modern gaming pc’s and even just highend desktops require “ pure sine wave”. This product produces “ synthetic sine wave”. If you dont know what “sine wave” is I recommend you look it up. Essentially when the power cuts out, your pc will too. You would hope this would keep it running, but nooo! Pc’s want pure sinewave not synthetic. Complete opposite of why you even bought this thing. Its only good for things like tvs and other electronics you might want to protect. But if your looking for this to keep your pc alive for atleast a few minutes to power off you pc safely. This aint the one! You pc will cut off immediately when your power does j.s.

Seems to be a great UPS! I say "seems to be" because the power hasn't gone out and I haven't unplugged it yet as a test. I can say that I have not had a single electrical-related issue of any type since buying 2 of these UPS's.

Best for professional uses. Much more reliable than cyberpower and a necessary upgrade if you have vital equipment for professional use. Also has a handy watt usage display that functions like a KillAWatt

This is a great UPS and I was lucky to pick it up when it was on sale. This has saved my bacon more than a few times with the rolling power outages that have seem to happen more, and more frequently. It keeps my modem, router, NAS, 55" TV, and network switch up for 80-90 minutes. I actually picked up another one to run my main computer with a 1200 watt PSU. It is on the heavier side, obviously, but it is a huge improvement over my 650VA UPS that used to run the modem, router, and wife's iMac. If you can find it on sale, pick it up!
