With our recent storms and spending several hours without power this back-up was perfect for maintaining power to my desktop and monitor.

I have relied on APC products for many years. The only issue I have ever had is that the batteries will eventually wear out. That is normal. I bought this UPS to power quite a few devices in a small datacenter. I calculated the VA I needed, then chose this UPS, which is really overkill for what I need, but the benefit will be longer runtime on battery. I would highly recommend this UPS if you need one that is not big and bulky, can run off 110/120 volts, and has decent runtime.

Had this about a month and a half and it's holding up well so far. It's powering a gaming computer with a 1 KW power supply, a 27 " monitor, a cable modem, a router, an HDMI switch and a Tivo and load is only 25% of capacity so plenty of headroom for runtime during power outages. The voltage from my power company can fluctuate so I am glad to have the power conditioning. Power Chute downloadable software is better than it used to be. Not only does it shut down your pc automatically during an outage but keeps all kinds of stats about the UPS and the utility power feed. USB charging ports are handy. Haven't had one of those infamous error codes yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.

My wife and I live in Florida and work from home in the engineering and construction fields. Florida weather is always subject to afternoon storms and quick power surges and electrical outages. We bought three of these to service our computers and fiber optic internet. In less than a month, storm related power interruptions have occurred, but not with our computers or internet. Fabulous investment for protecting equipment and on-going files.

I've used APC UPS's for years. This not only protects my laptop and office equipment from electrical abnormalities, but offers reasonable backup protection in the event of a power failure. I like that is has a user-replaceable battery.

These are the best back-ups out there. Set-up is a little confusing but otherwise works as advertised.

Definitely a must if you have a PC or any valuable electronics.

The UPS 1500 VA has a large footprint, but worth it ! Lots of outlets, and a replaceable battery pack. Recommended !!!!!

I like the fact that I don’t have to worry about losing power to my computer i also like the USB port.

This unit is a newer version of past model. I feel it is an improvement. This unit is quiet and strong. No issues.

No problems easy to install. Instruction are easy to follow. A little problem to find proper software to install on APC site.

I have had any power outages yet. But I have unplugged the power cables while rearranging cables under my desk with no power interruptions.

Could be better, when power uses or button off, requires me to unplug and disconnect the battery and after that reattach the battery for it to power back on.

Great battery Backup for desktop computer, have enough time to save documents when the light is off and you will have time to shutdown it

Great battery! But you will have to replace the battery inside in a couple of years maybe less!

Easy to set up. Works as promised. Would buy again. It will take time to find out what the lifespan of the battery is.

I owned the previous model and it worked as described for 4 years. Battery finally went out. Went to my local BB and grabbed this one. Will definitely use Best Buy for all things they sell, especially due to price matching. Thanks, Dustin
