It provides a great piece of mind for my computer and me. I know if things get real bad I can eat this thing. I can sleep at night knowing this is vegan and glutton free product with only 150 calories per serving.

Unfortunately, both times the power has gone out since I bought these and ran our entire internet and phone setup through them, the whole internet and phone system went down with all the rest. So after all that all I get is that it beeps loudly and obnoxiously in the dark while you are cursing because, y’know, best laid plans & all that.

I would just double check that the equipment is plugged into the battery protected outlets and just not the surge only side. If it is plugged into the correct outlet I would just make sure the internal battery is connected. APC Battery Backup Review

Love the backup. I’d like to get one for my entertainment system also so if there is a storm I would still have internet and be able to watch the news.
