I want to be able to "gracefully" shut down equipment if there is a power outage and protect it if there is a power bump. This has more than ample capabilities for what I have plugged into it.

They have carried me through MANY brief outages and even had enough power to keep a system running through shorter ones. Everyone should have a battery backup. Few people do.

We live in an area where we have a propensity to lose power during storms. These UPC's do a great job in their high sensitivity mode sensing the power loss and switching to battery. We no longer have to go through long reboot times on the cable boxes or lose WiFi! Perfect!

At this time, there are no known field issues related to the BN1500M2 model that have been cascaded to our technical support team. We assure that our units are being tested before they are released for sales. As long as this unit is handled following the instructions and used within its intended purpose, then everything should be fine. Now if in case of a failure, we also assure you that our skilled Technical Support Representatives shall be here to help troubleshoot and/or replace as necessary as this unit is covered with a 3 year warranty.

It powers both long enough for me to be able to start up my generator so I do not lose any work and am still able to continue working through a power outage. must have if you need constant connectivity and/or have expensive electronics
