Great for short power outage

Its been great so far, even helps with the little flash outages that cuts the power just long enough to rest the clocks. This keeps the TV and Roku along with the Modem working for a while.

No fault of the product, just circumstance. Although I will say the battery has been tested and works great.

I’m a freelancer, and rely on being able to submit my work no matter what happens. Using this backup power supply has saved me from many Deadline crises.

I live in rural Montana so we experience frequent power outages. Every single time I’ve had a power outage, the unit has failed with a constant beep and F02 error. This is with a desktop PC and monitor connected, both in sleep mode when the outages have occured. So extremely minimal power draw. Schneider customer service replaces them quickly and happily but whats the point if the products are completely non-functional? I just want my money back.

Posted .Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about our BN1500M2 UPS. I am sorry to hear of the issues you are facing and apologize for any inconvenience it has caused.
The F02 is an error due to an overload state of UPS. It triggers and cuts off power to load to prevent thermal runaway. If removing load does not fix issue it is not advisable to power on UPS and it should be replaced.
Make sure to check equipment rated consumption is not exceeding recommended load of UPS for this unit it is less than 900 W sustained and reactive power is 1500VA which it could not sustain for long.
Check specifications of your desktop power supply to see how we can properly size a UPS that will work we have SmartUPS that can support more than 900watts sustained. You may need to redistribute load or unplug non essential equipment. Please also allow buffer for in rush current for high powered power supply and inductive load.
If load is low but fault does not clear possible cause is short circuit on load or internals of UPS or possibly component damage.

I've got it backing up a 4 GPU mining rig and the PC has been running perfect since day one. Piece of mind know power issues wont damage a $5k PC and can keep up with the wattage demand.

I own 5 other APC UPS products and none have performed like this piece of junk. When an occasional power fluctuation occurs, the unit typically reports an F02 error and the battery does not take over. The unit's alarm sounds until the unit is unplugged and the power button is held down. After plugging the unit back into an active power outlet, and pressing the power button, the unit is back to normal operation. I do not trust this product and have wasted my money. From what I have read, this is a problem common to this unit. Schneider Electric should be ashamed.

Best Buy cannot honor the exchange and any Greek repair would void the warranty. There is no point buying the product at Best Buy when APC itself is selling the similar product for same price

The only thing I can say is that it does not handle much amperage. Once it goes to battery the screen will go crazy and shut off if there is more than just my computer plugged in. I am HOPING mine isn't going bad.
