I can not tell you how well it works as we have not had a power outtage! Seems like the same APC quality that my old unit had. My only complaint is the new battery connection method, which involves plugging a wire into the top of the battery terminal then trying to fully insert the battery into the unit and close the compartment cover. I think the older SLIDE IN BATTERY design was superior. But if it lasts 12 years like my last one did I will be happy.

I purchased this UPC to replace an older CyberPower UPS. The capacity of the APC unit is much larger than what I am using it for. The CyberPower UPS was running wildly, clicking on and off, during a recent power outage when my Generac generator was running. This battery backup works perfectly to keep the Wi-Fi and office computer running during power outages or blips. My desktop, monitor, and wi-fi router use around 100-200 watts depending on how hard the computer is working. On average, this gives me a guaranteed 30-40 minutes to save or continue working while a few hours if just on Wi-Fi. Overall, great peace of mind, plenty of outlets, and easy to read informational display. I'd recommend getting it while on sale.

A UPS or uninterruptible power supply is a staple if you want to safeguard your equipment and files. I had an older model that was really old die on me and I decided to upgrade to this one. With one of these even if the power goes out you are still able to run your modem, router and phone lines and even a computer for a while until power goes back on. I chose this model because I have a fairly powerful server that I want to keep running, at least long enough to safely shut it down to save my data, as well as keep internet going as well.

Power went out a while back and factory reset my PS5, so I lost all saved data…Not Cool! So I got this UPS to prevent that in the future. It has surge + battery, and some surge only outlets. Handles all my entertainment center consoles and devices. No power outage yet, but when the battery kicks in I’ll have time to power everything down correctly. Also plugged in a small lamp for light if it’s all dark!

My electric goes off often and this backup keeps mt tv and genie going and safe from power surge.

My previous ups was not capable of handling the load of my computer. As a result, my computer would lose power within a minute of power loss. I read reviews about APC 1500 ups units and the results were mixed. I took a chance and bought this on sale, and I am so glad I did. The storms this summer have caused multiple power fluctuations which would have dumped my computer. I am able to control the sound and display. I like the usb port on the front. Very solid and reliable unit. I would definitely buy another.

Have a few of these now, and they work great for my 3D printer and PC. Gives me enough time to get things paused if needed.

Have owned this for 2 years now and works flawlessly. Stored under my desk its mainly used as a backup for my fish tank pumps but is also hooked up to my computer. Massive run time for my tank around 3 hours and if using computer 45 minutes. Definitely recommend

I have purchased several of these APC - Back-UPS units for both home and work. These have been purchased for work. If you want to assure that your equipment doesn't get fried from a Surge, and also make sure that you have time to turn off your equipment due to an extended power outage, go with a name that you can trust - APC. My daughter made a claim several years ago, and APC made good on their warranty. These units have a 3-year battery. Should the battery fail before then, they will make good on replacing the battery.

I purchased this unit for my grand son. He has a high performance, high powered computer that he uses for video editing. I set it up at my house first to get familiar with it. I like the display, especially that it shows the electrical load. After about a week I took it to my grand son's house and plugged his computer and two monitors into it. It has plenty of capacity, and I really like that it can keep his computer running for nearly two hours if the power should fail. I am very happy with this purchase.

I've been using these APC UPS for several decades now; always the same model (well, always the updated one). They work for my home in several rooms. I have one for my home theater system, one each for my and my wife's home office. They enable us to keep working up to 1/2-1 hour using 2 30" monitors with computer and several external drives. They have excellent display and warning features, easy and intuitive to set up.

Absolutely perfect. Keeps my internet, modem and phone going in the event of a power outage, actually for several hours since they don't draw a lot. I also have an older one attached to my computer, same brand, and it keeps it going with all of my accessories for at least 3 hours

I have a high end embroidery/sewing machine. I used to shut it down when electrical storms were in the area for fear of a power surge. I do not fear a power surge or outage now that I have this UPS. Outages are way too frequent in our area. I bought the larger capacity for several reasons, one being additional outlets and another being the added surge protection. I now have peace of mind and no longer fear an outage or surge.
