This thing is whisper quiet, super reliable and does what it's supposed to. This is my second APC and won't be my last.

Does exactly what I purchased it for. The Powerchute software is a nice added feature.

A "must have" if you want to protect your computer and or electronics purchase!! Not to mention, if you use these to protect your internet equipment you won't lose your connection during a blackout!

This UPS/Surge Protector has all the features I need and looks good.

EAsy set up. I tested the switch over from Home power to battery and it was quick. Nice features as well.

I bought this battery back up for a home office. I had it a few days before getting around to taking it out of the box. When we got everything plugged in we noticed the AC indicator light was not working. We ran all the trouble shooting with no luck, it was apparent there was a short in the unit because when we would remove the battery (still connected) the AC light would come on for a few seconds and then go back off. Beware! Best Buy will not take this type of item back after 14 days, so needless to say I had to deal with APC directly, get an RMA and send back to the mfg. But they are sending me a new unit. I am looking forward to getting my replacement unit.

This is a solid UPS and the display improvements make it worth the upgrade. I had the previous model and for whatever reason, it did not show the load in watts but kilowatts...really bad. This new one again shows the load in Kilowatts so you can see clearly on the display the total load on everything that is plugged in. Also during a recent storm, when the power was out for 5 minutes, this UPS kicked in w/o any issues told me that with all the items plugged in ~500watts, that I had 22 minutes of Battery backup left before it would shut down. I would recommend this UPS, also watch out for sales. these do come on Sale at Best Buy once in awhile.

The unit is easy to set up and run. The slim design fits nicely between my desk and the wall.
