The power in Gulf Breeze power really sucks! Over and under voltage is the issue. In addition, I think the power glitches are causing the cable box to "get confused" which requires the box to be rebooted weekly. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the display can't be selected to be permanently on. You can only see the display when you push a button. Then it goes off.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.APC used to be top-tier, but these consumer Back-UPS units seem to be having issues or completely dying far too soon into their lifetime. I bought this in late January 2025 and we've already had a few instances of the dreaded F02 error. Thankfully the UPS seems OK after power-cycling each time. Definitely going to look at other brands as this has caused many cases of calls to tech support for office equipment outages.

At Schneider Electric we take customer concerns very seriously and as so, our Quality Engineers monitor the products' performance in the field very closely. At this time, there are no known field issues related to the BN1500M2 model that have been cascaded to our technical support team. The F02 is an output overload warning please try to remove load to see which equipment is causing it . We assure that our units are being tested before they are released for sales. As long as this unit is handled following the instructions and used within its intended purpose, then everything should be fine. Now if in case of a failure, we also assure you that our skilled Technical Support Representatives shall be here to help troubleshoot and/or replace as necessary as this unit is covered with a 3 year warranty.

Unit is performing solid power backup. my fingers are crossed that it will work long term Last unit (same maker) had a fault that stopped the backup function and cut the power completely and we lost data on our data Aquisition system.

I've had numberous AC powerline events ranging from nearby lightning strikes to brownouts. The UPS kicks in protects all equipment downstream. Also, SSDs are vulnerable to failures when power is suddenly removed. If you have SSDs, you need a UPS!
