I have all major electronics on APC UPS's. Its a great feeling when you hear the unit beep as the house lights dim or temporarily go out and your television, internet and other devices continue to function as if nothing happened. If there is an outage, the display lets you know exactly how much time you have at current consumption levels. Sometimes our voltage goes as high as 130V, and its good to know that our components are getting a constant 120V. AVR, TV, Sub Woofer, Printers, Modem, Router, Apple TV, at least one light, and anything else are plugged into multiple APC UPS's. When we first moved in to this area a dozen years ago, there was a brownout at 2AM that caused the loss of data on a new computer, and I swore never again! I've been hooked on these units ever since. Customizable for sounds (or none) when there is an event. The Batteries are replaceable, and the staff at Batteries Plus will do it for you! If you think the price is expensive, wait until you have to retrieve date from a fried disc, and subject your private info to the purview strangers out of your presence. When (not if) you purchase one, remember, the higher the VA, the more time you have if there's an outage. I've seen and read that these can arrest a lightning strike, saving your equipment. I hope to never find out.

Best decision ever. We have power glitches. It would flicker just enough to have the router and DVR power on/off. Every time it would take a few Minutes for it to come back on. Not anymore. We lose power and tv stays on, router and DVR stay on. If we have a long power outage it give me enough time to get the generator going.

Works great. You can mute the alerts/beeping, which is always a top feature for me in UPS systems.

These are great. We have them in every room and also on all our network equipment. Fantastic during storms

Good amount of plugs. The front USB ports come in handy. It keeps my network equipment running for a good long time during an outage for my phone and laptop. I get a lot of brownouts and APC has never let my systems falter.

Great backup system. Works instantaneously. This particular model has a long emergency power service if you just use your computer.

Recommend the APC backups. Bought this one to replace a failed Cyberpower, and it's doing great so far.

I have always purchased APC over other brands because they are reliable. When you don't have surge protection at the electrical panel, the next best thing is to have APC battery backups. Our electricity goes out a few times a year for hours in Ohio and we have electrical storms pass through as well, so its best to protect your computers/TV's/etc. with a UPS. APC products work great!

There is no good time to lose power to tech running 24/7. When my M-I-L last lost power in an extra severe FL thunderstorm, her AT&T TV gateway got fried via the coaxial cable. Fortunately, the relatively new TV was survived. The replacement gateway had no coaxial, so after installing an ethernet connection, I made sure that the ethernet, and power to both the gateway and TV was provided via a new APC - Back-UPS Pro, 1500VA. Be sure to protect your stuff - recovery time is money. Be sure to get enough wattage coverage for your tech stuff. I purchased the 900 Watt model to assure enough time to power-down any computers to be added. I like the ability to see the power stats and charge mobile devices from front ports.

I've used APC for my desktops for years now and have never had any problems with their functionality. The batteries last long, and their on screen display works perfectly. Would recommend for those who would like to hook up 1 or 2 desktops, or multiple other devices if you live in an unstable electrical area.

great backup dose my computer monitor and printer also have speakers hooked up to the surge protector!

Works great powers my gaming computer long enough to be shut down by the software and keeps everything on when power flickers. Powers my internet for around 4 hours when power is out. Software could be better.

This UPS works as expected. I have 2 PCs, Modem, Router, Firewall, Switch, Mesh Router, two monitors, one printer and it is at 20%!

APC is being used in my home offices. very compact and easy to position. It's powering my 1000D dual-system PC with a 1600w corsair power supply and a 600w power supply. It also powers my dual monitors and other electronics. It delivers the power I need to keep my business equipment temporarily running during a blackout.
