This equipment has already kicked in once for a short flicker in our electric grid and has worked for a few small spikes here in Florida. Plenty of protected outlets and easy to set up and use -- replaced a 10 year old battery backup wen crazy - and we use APC on larger scale in our offices - read the reviews and bought the unit - very happy

This was the perfect solution for the power outages we have been having in our area. It gave top performance and peace of mind knowing my devices had an extra layer of protection.

This is top of the line. My previous unit got bar-b-qued in a power outage, so I checked Best Buy, then confirmed with my son-in-law who owns a business that deals with computers and electronics. He has an office FULL of these units and rates them the highest, so my choice was pretty easy. I've been quite happy with it.

This is a powerhouse unit for anyone running a high-wattage PC or a complex home office. With 900W of actual power capacity, it can handle a modern gaming PC and twin monitors with ease. However, because it uses a Simulated Sine Wave, enthusiasts with sensitive audio equipment or servers with sensitive Active PFC power supplies might prefer Pure Sine Wave version.

This affordable UPS is made by one of the best in the business. Well worth the money. Plenty of battery ports and surge only. Very compact and zero noise. Perfect setup for home network, theatre, and gaming areas. Easy to use and plenty of available live data from the front screen which goes dark when not needed.

Keeps my Mac, printers and internet from turning off when power goes put. I had internet service for the entire 2-hours that the power was out, and it would have kept it running for another hour to 1-1/2 hours. (I did shut down the Mac, and used my phone. It would have run the Mac for about 1 hour had I left it on.). A bit pricey, but quality equipment.

This unit provides plenty of power to keep your systems running during power outages. With my modem/router, desktop computer and monitor powered up I get over 90 minutes of backup. With just the router on I can maintain internet connectivity to my tablets and phones for almost 4 hours during an outage.

We bought this for our starlink and it works perfectly. Our lights go out often where we live due to thunderstorms & limbs falling. We haven’t lost our internet since buying this.

Needed this to replace an APC 750VA that could not keep up with 2 computers and 3 monitors. I really like the small, vertical footprint - takes up less floorspace. Works great, protects my electronics from power surges and brown/black outs. Very happy with this model UPS.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I bought this APC battery backup to protect my desktop computer, modem, and router at home, and it’s been solid so far. Setup was straightforward, the display is clear and easy to understand, and it gives peace of mind during brief power flickers and outages. I haven’t had any issues, and it feels well built and reliable. It’s a battery backup — it works as intended. Very happy with the purchase.

Serious Power Backup When You Need It

There is no good time to lose power to tech running 24/7. When my M-I-L last lost power in an extra severe FL thunderstorm, her AT&T TV gateway got fried via the coaxial cable. Fortunately, the relatively new TV was survived. The replacement gateway had no coaxial, so after installing an ethernet connection, I made sure that the ethernet, and power to both the gateway and TV was provided via a new APC - Back-UPS Pro, 1500VA. Be sure to protect your stuff - recovery time is money. Be sure to get enough wattage coverage for your tech stuff. I purchased the 900 Watt model to assure enough time to power-down any computers to be added. I like the ability to see the power stats and charge mobile devices from front ports.

I have been using APC Back-UPS's for more than a decade and have always been very satisfied. I recently bought two of the BN-1500 10-outlet models to support more electronic equipment in my house. I now have all my electronics connected to APC UPS's including computer, printer, DVD burner, computer speakers, game console, DVD player, ham radio equipment, TV's, modem/router, plus other musical and electronic equipment. We get a lot of quick power interruptions here in Florida and these UPC's have never failed me. They also keep the current at the optimum 120 volts. With 6 surge/battery backup outlets and 4 surge outlets in each unit, you have enough to connect all your electronics or non-electronic devices. I have always gotten more than 5 years battery life from all my APC UPS's and it's very easy to replace the battery if ever needed for another 5 plus years of usage.
