As someone who works with large amounts of data, having a reliable backup solution is non-negotiable. The APC Backup Machine is a solid choice for anyone looking for an efficient, user-friendly, and durable device to keep their data safe. Here’s my breakdown:

I have used APC products since 2006. Just starting to replace and upgrade them. Great backup units and never had a problem with any of them. Just replaced batteries about every 3 years. Getting ready to order second APC 1500VA backup for a server. They are very important if you lose power in the middle of creating an excel spread report, saved us problems a couple of times. The slow auto shutdown program is great. These are definitely pug and play units. They load the program automatically with no problems.

This provides up to an hour of back up time with full load, two monitors, computer, router. Plus it does great job of being easy to set up.

Florida has a lot of heat and storms in the summer, causing unexpected power outages that result in a hard shut down of the computer. I researched so many products because the quality has gone down so much over the years. This item is the only one that passed muster. I've had no issues so far. There are some complaints about connecting the battery but that, too, is nonsense. I highly recommend this one.

I’m a photographer, I ordered this for my work pc that houses my photo backups. I don’t have panic attacks during power outages or thunder storms anymore because of this thing.

This was easily set up and before the day was over was already transferring power due to loss of power issues.

I really like APC. I have several of their products throughout my house; protecting CPAP equipment, computers, internet connections. Our area has brownouts monthly and we have had no loss of power to connected devices

I purchased just in time when Hurricane Dorian brought heavy winds and rain to my area! There were intermittent power outages due to power lines and I still had power to my PC and internet! Plus when the power came back out, the surge protection helped my sensitive devices. One gripe about this and many others is the spacing of the plugs/outlets. Some devices have their plugs oriented sideways so when one plug is being used, it will be forced to face sideways which blocks out an open plug. Other than that, this is highly recommended!

I use it for, gaming/prod pc and work. Quality is great, design is good time will tell how it holds up

Quality product - wish I had purchased it before now. . . and thank you to the two friendly, knowledgeable and professional employees who helped me at the Best Buy store. They had patience with me and my 20 questions.

This was bought as a replacement for a prior Back-UPS Pro that got an internal fault after initially being put into service in 2010. APC is a reliable brand in my honest opinion and the battery replacements in these units are very easy. The only downfall is usually you can replace the internal batteries only once before the hardware finally gives out. Otherwise a very reliable unit.

I bought 2 of these from Best Buy (one for each server rack at home) and they are exactly what you would expect from APC - Quality. The units have a great front panel display that is very informative and easy to read. The layout of the receptacles on the rear is nice and the front panel USB ports are a nice touch. The price at Best Buy was the final selling point for me, especially since I didn't have to worry about shipping costs on these HEAVY units.

Overall, it's a great UPS. One minor downside is the limited number of plugs available. I often find myself wishing for more outlets to plug in additional devices. However, this is a minor inconvenience and doesn't detract significantly from its performance. One of its standout features is the clear display that allows me to easily monitor the current status of everything. It's convenient to see how long it will last before running out of power during an outage, whether it's running on mains or battery. Additionally, I appreciate how straightforward it is to replace the battery when needed. This adds to the overall convenience and longevity of the device. Overall, despite the limited number of plugs, this uninterrupted power supply is a reliable and user-friendly solution for keeping my devices powered and protected.

Its a back up for power. So far so good. It has performed thus far.

I have a few PCs, a monitor, and a 75” TV on it which is showing a load of less than 70 percent. When the power has gone out, the run time is incredibly long! It’s an excellent choice for high end systems, it also conditions the line so your electrics are getting clean power. It’s great when dealing with blackouts and brownouts, I trust my devices will be able to last much longer. APC has been a quality brand at work, I’ve now brought it into my home.

As far as being a battery backup, look no further. Seamlessly converts from electrical power to battery power. Highly recommend.

I can not tell you how well it works as we have not had a power outtage! Seems like the same APC quality that my old unit had. My only complaint is the new battery connection method, which involves plugging a wire into the top of the battery terminal then trying to fully insert the battery into the unit and close the compartment cover. I think the older SLIDE IN BATTERY design was superior. But if it lasts 12 years like my last one did I will be happy.

I purchased this UPC to replace an older CyberPower UPS. The capacity of the APC unit is much larger than what I am using it for. The CyberPower UPS was running wildly, clicking on and off, during a recent power outage when my Generac generator was running. I had no problems with any of the 3 other UPS units in use at the time. 2 were APC and the other a newer CyberPower. That is why I purchased this APC,
