APC uninterruptible power supplies have been my go-to for many years. I maintain a running server system in my home, and it is extremely important that it never experiences an unplanned shutdown so it is vital that I have a battery backup solution in place. The Back-UPS Pro series of UPSs has many nice features including information about power usage and potential run-times that helps me to be knowledgeable about the level of protection that I have available.

Easy and clear instructions and quick to put together with a little help. I will sleep better with this security during the crazy storm patterns recently. I will consider one for Xmas gifts for my adult kids!

This is a great UPS battery backup. I like the detailed display showing line voltage, load and remaining time. We have all of our network gear plugged into it and when we lose power, we have about 10 minutes of backup power. Our line power is usually restored within this time.

I highly recommend APC uninterruptible power supplies. I’ve purchased three for the past 10 years and only now am I beginning to replace them. Not because of catastrophic failure, but because it’s recommended to me to do so. They are solid as a rock.

Silent, no noise. The battery can be easily replaced without screws. Its like APC designed this to be repairable. I replaced my two year old Trip lite with this. Trip lite made a buzzing noise all the time, dont buy it.

Security! That’s how I would describe this item! It protects all my devices and keeps them powered in case of an outage and with the optional data cable it can power off my server safely if I lose power

Great for protecting your equipment from power surges and some cool extra features; track how many voltage is coming from the wall outlet and prompts you a time on how long you have when the backup battery kicks in.

Had few power shutdowns during the summer, nyc buildings are old. It worked flawlessly it transitioned from the outlet to the battery seamlessly while on a power outage! I almost didn’t notice the power was gone. Surge protection it’s a plus to protect to your expensive equipment. I hooked up my tv, an av receiver, and gaming systems.

Purchased and installed to support a small office server and to replace a previous APC unit, several years old, that had been reliable throughout its life, but had finally failed. Simple installation except for the software. Instructions provided for installation of the software with a Windows 10 computer. Have not been able to fully install and setup the software for Server 2016. This unit provides much better display and information than the old one.

Its a ups and it is a good one however, most modern gaming pc’s and even just highend desktops require “ pure sine wave”. This product produces “ synthetic sine wave”. If you dont know what “sine wave” is I recommend you look it up. Essentially when the power cuts out, your pc will too. You would hope this would keep it running, but nooo! Pc’s want pure sinewave not synthetic. Complete opposite of why you even bought this thing. Its only good for things like tvs and other electronics you might want to protect. But if your looking for this to keep your pc alive for atleast a few minutes to power off you pc safely. This aint the one! You pc will cut off immediately when your power does j.s.

Works good, the back up does get confused by quick flickering of power that sets off a fault code and a super loud beeping that does not stop until you reset the unit

This is to APC's as Rolls Royce is to vehicles. Built to the highest quality standards and works gloriously well. It provides you with all the information regarding the various status of the inputs and it's power available and more. Glad I spent a little more for a much better protection device.

I've used APC Back-UPS systems for over 10 years are always find them reliable with excellent long term performance. I use several of them to protect my network and various computers and external raid drives and highly recommend this product. There are multiple display menus which provide a lot of information about the load and performance of the unit.

Power in Santa Cruz is "dirty" and fluctuations can harm your electronics. The APC Battery Back-Up will protect your computer from power surges and it will properly shut down your computer in the event of a power outage. Definitely worth the money.

I had previously purchased 2 APC BackUPS 1500 Pro units from Best Buy a long time ago. A power supply surge zapped the computer and one of the UPS units. So, I decided to order 2 new ones, and have them hooked up. I have used UPS units from APC for nearly 30 years, and except for this last incident, I've never had a problem with UPS units from APC.
