Works great. Can watch the gauge go up and down. Power went out one night recently and it screamed immediately until things were shut down. I think it helped protect from close lightning strike.

Instructions were bot clear on how to connect the positive lead of the battery, but after a bit of twisting it connected. UPS does exactly as it should

I measured the voltage on this and was delighted it was matching my multimeter. Many other brands to do. Hopefully this will be a good performer as time marches on. Plenty of outlets on the back and the USB on the front will come in handy when power does out, to keep the cellphone alive. Confident, I would purchase another without question.

Great back up, I’ve being using it for a year and works great, I have 2 monitors, PS5 and a Gamer PC and works great.

I have both the Cyberpower and APC UPSs, and generally I find both comparable. However, for Unraid, APC is a bit better given the ability to connect it with a USB, set an automatic shutdown schedule, and see wattage draw.

Normally, these are used for computers to keep them on longer - however, i've been using these for my Cable Modem and Router inside my house. It helps to keep my internet working during power outages so the kids can keep school going on their iPAD's and laptops. Little life hack for difficult Covid school @ home times...

Always best to protect your electronics from surges, and here in Florida they are all too common. APC makes a great product. This one is for the TV and stereo and Blu-ray, no movie interruptions for those power blinks. Been buying APC for many years and they are consistently of exceptional quality.

An absolute lifesaver in power outages! I experience frequent power loss for short periods, and this battery keeps my workstation, monitor, router, and modem running for 20+ minutes while I wait for power.

So I buy these regularly for work, dozens per year. The 1500 series is still worth replacing batteries once they wear down after 2-3 years of mild use. Heavy use in bad power environments gets you less battery life but that is to be expected. This is cheap insurance for your high dollar electronics - highly recommend!

I've used various UPS's over the years for by various computer and audio systems, but have settled on APC and in particular this unit for my fairly demanding computers and server (each system on its own UPS). The software leaves a little to be desired, but in the end, the software tools really don't get much use and perform a pretty simple job.

This is the second of these I've purchased to cover my computers and home servers. Excellent, reliable and being able to monitor usage and time left on the battery is very helpful.

The power is so faulty in south Louisiana between random thunderstorms and 100 year old power line poles theres always something causing a quick surge or brown out which over time will damage your electronics but this ups always kicks in and keeps your stuff safe.

This unit has a constant, high-pitched whine that never goes away even at full battery power, on or off battery, and only changes pitch slightly (but still audible) when the LCD screen is on. When unplugging the unit, the whine continues for a while, suggesting it's somehow related to the battery. For my use, it was under my desk and still very audible, so all the marketing materials showing it on top of a desk (which would presumably be closer to the user) and considering the overall high rating from many users, it makes me wonder if not all the units exhibit this whine (QC issue?) or if the frequency is not audible to everyone, or both. However, further reading and research shows plenty of other users have had this same issue, unfortunately. I have always, exclusively used APC UPS for the smaller units (900 VA and lower) and have been happy with the brand overall. This is the largest I've purchased, but I had to return it and go with a different brand. Just couldn't take the whining sound in general use, even with other white noise in the room. And didn't want to try a different one of the same model because of reading others' experiences with the whining. If it wasn't for the whining sound, this unit is good. The LCD is bright and the unit seemed to function well for the 48 hours I used it. Socket locations in the back are fine, plenty of cord length, easy access to battery, front panel access for USB connections. CONS: -High-pitch whining sound that never stops PROS: -Bright, functional LCD screen -Number of sockets -Easy battery access, user-replaceable -Front panel access for USB and USB-C -Cord length Despite having good experiences overall with APC and definitely recommending the brand in general, I cannot recommend this particular unit because of that one, very annoying flaw.

Does exactly what it supposed to do. Very easy setup. Going to have to find out if it works when the power goes out.

Battery backup / surge protector really works nice have had several over the years and it has completely protected my system on a lot of occasions with the battery back up I have enough time to finish what I was working on and save it with out any loss.

Works great I have my modem and router hook up to it gives me 200 minutes of power keep in mind the more you have hook up to the battery the less time you’ll have.

Great UPS for desktop computers. APC software provides detailed reports of power fluctuations and outages. This UPS provides steady power for up to 45 minutes of use after the power goes out. It is worth the few extra bucks to get the best!

Had to get a bigger one when I rebuild my computer with one of the newer video cards - and the old one wouldn't handle the load. This thing is really heavy - and you do actually have to look at the instructions because it comes with the battery disconnected inside. But no complaints from it or my PC.
