I loved this unit for 1 year until I turned it off at the beginning of a late night electrical storm. After being off all night, the next morning the power button was unresponsive. Did the electrical storm knock it out even when off? I was about to send it back to APC under warrantly, but luckly I read some of the helpful 2-star reviews that describe the need to disconnect and reconnect the battery to fix an unresponsive power button. I unplugged it from wall power, opened the battery compartment, disconnected the red battery lead for 30 seconds, reconnected it, closed the battery compartment, plugged the UPS back into wall power, and the power button worked again. The UPS powered up like normal. Other than that stressful and ridiculous workaround, the unit has worked well for 1 year.

We purchased this to replace another failed UPS at our office, and it works great. Good value for the capacity and easy install.

Power-packed back-up/surge supression unit. Unit reflects a very robust product, built with quality and long-lasting materials. The configuration options are just right, allowing you to control sensitivity and display preferences. Plenty of outlets, including handling those pesky over-sized plugs. Works great on my home entertainment system - wide screen TV, satellite box, DVD player, back-up external disk drive. Highly recommended.

This product was recommended to me by a tech friend, and I am definitely happy with the purchase. As I have almost always encountered, I found the item online at BestBuy.com, and it was in stock, another common occurrence. I purchased it online and picked it up shortly afterword. I frequently rely on my friend's advice and direction, and it performs exactly as presented. I definitely count on his advice and Best Buy's inventory to take care of my needs.

My old UPS died, and it was cheaper to buy new than get a battery for it. After talking to Schneider Electric, it may not have been capable of any updates as well. They suggested I get new, of course, boost the sales. I feel like I keep buying these every few years - expensive.

Had a few weird power surges and this beauty not only provided the backup power I needed to properly shutdown (with plenty to spare), but also kept the power regulated to prevent damage to my PC components. Its more than paid for itself in the short time I have had it. Great quality and features.
