Electronic equipment is sensitive to power power surges and brown-outs. In most cases the transformer is damaged when the input levels are out of bounds. If you are lucky, it stops there before blowing capacitors, wires, and circuitry. This battery backup intervenes when the levels are not within safe tolerance and places your equipment on battery power until the line levels return to normal.

Works great on my computers and TV. Keeps the running during short power outages.

Excellent, Im running my household servers and networking equipment off of it and its been a perfect replacement. Even with the load Im placing on it, it only shows to be running at about 25% capacity which is far below my previous similarly sized unit.

This thic UPS is protecting at least 5 Grand worth of PC just the tower and that is not an joke or a stretch. So far the power has been solid and reliable. No issues with power blips and short power outages. I run an older 1500 for my monitors and extras. So far no issues with that unit either. I highly recommenced to users with PC's over 1k to consider this unit as cheap good protection for you pc. Worth every dime here in Colorado.

This battery back up is great for in the country. It keeps our internet running if we get a black out and even powers my gaming pc for up to an hour when power is out. I highly recommend if your power goes out easily or you work from home and want to secure your work if the power goes out.

A must have with today's electronics. I own 4 if these and will be purchasing another soon
