    I wanted to maintain power to my router and NAS (as well as other devices) during our occasional power outages. I did a lot of research and this APC power unit provided everything I needed in an affordable package. It has been working great and we have been thru a couple of power outages due to springtime storms.

    Decent Unit, APC does well, I would like to see some additional wattage for the price, however, serves it's function, better than most.

    I purchased this item primarily to protect my NAS devices from surge and/or brown outs in my area. So far there have been none so I am unsure how effective the device can be but I will update my review following an event. So far, so good as all devices are now running through the device and it appears to be working. I love the software that comes with it and allows me to monitor power usage, consumption, etc.
