Keep stuff running with APC Back-UPS Pro 1500VA

I run a laser printer on the same circuit as our deskside PC and every time I turned on the printer the AC would dip so low that the deskside PC shutoff. Not any more, thanks to this APC battery backup!!!!!

Setup is easy and there are a good number of surge control power sockets and ones with battery backup. Software is OK for basic status.

It provides Back-UPS to several items, including a TV screen that may be connected to a computer. My main concern is keeping items safe from issues on the power lines, and that it does well. It also allows me to continue using the items for several hours when power is down. Good product.

I had a 7 year old APC that finally died. This replacement is better in every way. More powerful, better software. My computer has a 750 watt power supply. There are two 32 inch monitors, a router, external hard drives, and speakers plugged-in. All good.

Exactly 28 days later, the unit completely failed and became unusable. When I attempted to return this defective merchandise, BestBuy, informed me that because I was outside of a 15-day return window, Best Buy would offer no remedy, replacement, or compensation, and that I would have to deal with the manufacturer directly.

While Best Buy’s 15‑day window can be limiting, your UPS is still covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, and Schneider Electric can assist with troubleshooting and arranging a replacement if the unit is confirmed defective.

I had one of their cheaper ones die on my in less than a year, and the back and forth to try and get it replaced was so frustrating, I just wound up tossing it, hoping it was a one off. Well, I just got this more expensive one and it hasn't even been 30 days and it bricked. There's no form anymore to submit for a claim. I only have a PC and a monitor plugged into this.

Good power backup for pc/network devices
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this APC unit to provide backup power to two pc's, two monitors, a Netgear router and a cable modem from Spectrum. In the two instances so far when we lost power, once for about 15 minutes and the other a transient outage for less than a second, the APC unit worked perfectly as advertised. I also like the display showing power usage and time left indication.

Ive already since i got it seen it kick on just from power surges not even from power outages. Keeps my game systems and tvs and everything goin. Ive got 3 diff apc's and all them work awsome.
