    Had to replace another APC that gave over 15 years of service before the battery gave out. Decided to opt for a new model to get the latest features. Already saved me today with a power "blip" during a snowstorm. And the usb charging ports are convenient.

    I'm using this to protect my file servers and some network gear. I want to be able to "gracefully" shut down equipment if there is a power outage and protect it if there is a power bump. This has more than ample capabilities for what I have plugged into it.

    I purchased these for storm season. We live in an area where we have a propensity to lose power during storms. These UPC's do a great job in their high sensitivity mode sensing the power loss and switching to battery. We no longer have to go through long reboot times on the cable boxes or lose WiFi! Perfect!
