Sudden power loss to a protected server kinda defeated the purpose... I have experienced several complete power outages and this APC has yet to let me down. I am very pleased.

I have used APC for many years and I have never had problems with them.

I have a power reserve of 3hrs with my 70wat 43inch tv and 2 low red lights that each us 3 watts of power , so i can sit and still enjoy my verizon home internet also when my Spectrum services fail

There have been momentarty brown out then power surges (where I live) and the UPS clicked on and beeped (sounded alarm). Seemed to work fine. No interruptions for my computers and office equipment. The unit seems well designed.

Biggest mistake is not protecting your wired network ahead of your devices! These will even help in brown out situations if you live in the sticks with poor power.
