This replaced a 10 year old APC Back-UPS and the new one is doing its duty. It is a tiny bit smaller than my older one. My iMac sees the UPS as I would expect.

Great runtime and an ok warranty. LAsts about 2 years.

Cons: the battery has reduce life after about 5 years.

My favorite part is the “clean” energy. In our older home the energy “fluctuates” so this product helps to not damage our expensive computer!

Spoke to a tech who explained my problem, he gave me a couple of choices. I decided on an item and picked it up in less than an hour. A month later and all is well.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This device just had an FO4 error that shut down my network controller w/ video cameras, entire network and POE devices, 4 drive NAS, and RasPi with Home Automation. Ear piercing sound that I couldn’t stop until unplugging everything and disconnecting battery. 11pm Saturday night. I wouldn’t buy another one of these or anything from this company and I wouldn’t troubleshoot it and put it back in place to test it with one load at a time to see if it does this again.

The F04 is a clamp short error typically happens when a surge hits and the UPS stops output so that your load does not get damage. This UPS would come with a 3 year warranty. I always buy APC instead of the rocketfish or whatever best buy branded unit just due to the fact that its $30 more, and the dollar amount that I have plugged into it. Its not worth skimping on protection.
