There is no good time to lose power to tech running 24/7. When my M-I-L last lost power in an extra severe FL thunderstorm, her AT&T TV gateway got fried via the coaxial cable. Fortunately, the relatively new TV was survived. The replacement gateway had no coaxial, so after installing an ethernet connection, I made sure that the ethernet, and power to both the gateway and TV was provided via a new APC - Back-UPS Pro, 1500VA. Be sure to protect your stuff - recovery time is money. Be sure to get enough wattage coverage for your tech stuff. I purchased the 900 Watt model to assure enough time to power-down any computers to be added. I like the ability to see the power stats and charge mobile devices from front ports.

We replaced an older back up tower that was no longer working. This one works well and gives us peace of mind.

We use these for our business. Frequent power outages occur in our area and we were tired of our equipment stopping and/or failing when the power would go off momentarily or for an hour etc. This backup works perfect to prevent hiccups in our production and work when these power outages occur. Must have for our operations!

This thing is fantastic! The power in my building occasionally cuts out and it’s nice having the peace of mind that my tech won’t be fried from a sudden outage. It’s already come in handy once with a recent outage. Would recommend to anyone with any tech in their homes especially for your home internet/pc setup.

Rock steady performance, built tough and light enough for the top of the desk. Easy to read instructions and phone-tech support. This APC back-up has kept me up and running without even a screen flash or temp log-out. Been through many power downs and APC does what it says it will do! A must-have all the way around. Easy to operate menu-screen and flawless operation for going on a year now...

I've always had APC-UPS's and this one is a great addition to my office. I've got a Mac Mini, 2 monitors, an ethernet switch, and a few peripherals hooked up to it. After a few power outages, I can say that this great and when it is in use, the switch over is seamless and gives plenty of time to safely shut down, if the power is out for longer than 45 minutes.

I've used APC for my desktops for years now and have never had any problems with their functionality. The batteries last long, and their on screen display works perfectly. Would recommend for those who would like to hook up 1 or 2 desktops, or multiple other devices if you live in an unstable electrical area.

After four power outages one week, I decided to quit putting off reinvesting in a battery backup for my equipment at home. They function as a battery backup and surge protection. Good surge protection is a cheap insurance when it comes to high end electronics. This is about the highest end UPS you can get in store. APC is in my opinion the best brand on the market when it comes to UPS. I've have dealt with them for a few decades now. A few other brands may be cheaper but they don't have the same level of quality and this is one of those things that you really don't want to skimp on. The unit itself has what are basically two 12 volt 1.7 amp batteries in it. These need have an instruction sticker removed and one terminal plugged in after unpacking the device. This is pretty easy in that the side slides off and then back on once connected. This doesn't require any tools to do and only needs to be done the one time. Once the battery has been connected you are ready to plug it and your devices in and go. The device itself has a LCD display and can be manually cycled through a handful of displays showing voltage output, load, and estimated battery life. It also allows the power outage alarm to be muted and remembers its state from one outage to the next (This feature is a God send) the display also goes dark (sleep) after a while which is nice so it's not visually distracting. We bought a few of these including one of these for my elderly mother's motorized reclining chair since it's almost impossible for her to get out of the chair when fully reclined should the power go out. We plugged her chair, cell phone charger, tablet charger, and landline cordless phone base station into one of these so I dont have to worry the next time the power's out for her. She'll be able to go up in down in the chair way past most outages now. The time remaining on battery backup on these is a best guess by the unit and is based on current load and the charge left. Without anything pulling juice from it the display will read something like 347 mins. With my desktop PC, a roku, soundbar, and a 55" TV it looks like I'll get between 30-45 Mins. Certainly more than enough to make it through any blips or short outages. So far I've been very pleased with these. They are well worth the money.

Bought 8 months ago. Gaming PC, 3 Monitors, and a direct drive steering wheel attached. Been through several power outages amd performed flawlessly everytime, giving enough time to properly shut down equipment. Setup was a breeze as most backup power units should be. Perfect for home use. We use APC in our data center at work, and this is as well made as that high end equipment.

My husband got this model years ago to support his gaming machine. I just built myself a new machine and got one to support it. Plenty of outlets, properly spaced. Love the front panel readout. Easy to set up, easy to use, and provides enough power for a safe shutdown in case of power outage. APC is the leader for a reason. This unit does not disappoint.

This product works great to connect your Wi-Fi all of your devices and when there’s a power outage you still have power to continue doing your work because it runs on the battery I mainly bought it just in case there was a program power outage and I needed to do schoolwork However, I have noticed that my devices are also protected and they seem to work better.

This product works as intended and is functional and useful! Love the display information and I have a visual on what the circuit it is connected to is doing at all times! Very easy to use and program for what you would like it for.

Had gotten this for my computer so that I have more complete protection on the power than just Surge protection. having backup power and enough of it for a my gaming computer to work through brownouts, short blackouts, and giving enough power to do a proper shutdown in the event of an extended blackout.

This unit has protected my sensitive electronics from under-voltage, energy spikes, power outages, and hopefully protect against a lightning bolt. It also has a display showing you energy usage, input voltage, estimated time remaining, among other things.

Perfect and reliable. Exactly the right UPS. This one has all the bells and whistles. This is the perfect UPS for your setup this one for text my main desktop and gives me nearly 2 hours to shut it down. If I'm not there, it does it automatically. Perfect.

I have 2 of these I’ve purchased in the past. Always reliable and can handle any power outages. I have a gaming rig plus a 32 inch wide screen monitor. It gives me at least 25-30 mins to safely shut down my machine. Also my area is prone to power surges and blackouts. Before I got this my gaming rig was unprotected and fried my power supply. My other computers were unaffected.
